hard to put your finger on it ain't it? they have the world class player in gerrard and torres, they have the terrific support,they have the pulling power of a prestige club and they have players willing to die wearing the jersey in carragher,gerrard again

what they lack though isn't mental toughness,their CL victories have proved that.... it is hard to imagine taht it is so long since they won the title

Other than the 2 world class players you mentioned they have some very ordinary players (a lot like ourselves)

True, ManUre and Chel$ki have far better squad depth.

Babel was showing signs of improvement toward the end of last season though, and he obviously is talented.

to win the premiership, torres and gerrard would have to play every single game, and even if they did there would still be times where even they can't find a way to take a game.

I think liverpool has a little chances to win Premiership title with Benitez, because he is typical cup-coach he obviously can't compete with the strong teams in a long term league tournaments

I'm with Ahmed on this one, Chelsea's squad just seems so strong. Their only problem is a lack of strikers, if Anelka and the Drog get injured at the same time, Chelsea are in big trouble.

lack of depth esspecially upfront, anelka is shit. Yes they have goal scoring midfielders but in big games, where the midfield is so tight it's usually an attacker who makes the difference

very surprised they did not sign a top class CF this time...Lampard will score his share, but they only have Anelka as the striker

@ fred, anelka is crap, he needs rebounds ect to put the ball in the net, if they had a good backup striker then they would do it.
The rest of the team is dynamic though.
