Nae luck.

Being from Aberdeen I am exempt from having to wear the daft gear and get to go casual.

no chance, am creaming myself at the prospect of gigi and his natural heir on the same field in such an important game. regardless i feel craigy g has cemented his place as one of the games most promising talents, he takes everything in his stride, makes great saves and is constantly improving. i make no appologies for insisting he really could go on to become scotlands greatest ever keeper

WHAT? Better than Andy Goram & Jim Leighton? Surely not Boz.......

now the same folk that talked about the class of rooney and tevez together are laying into gordon?truth be told i watched all the highlights and believe that all the praise for rooney and tevez is mislaid as is teh criticism of gorson. truth of the matter is in both games the defending was absolutely awful, watch the manure goals, watch the comical defending by villa and it takes the gloss off of said strike pairs performance.

similarly sunderland should have scored 4 goals in the second half but their awful defensive displays continue to leave gordon exposed. first goal the bal out wide should have been stopped, the cross should have been stopped and when it came in there were 3 west ham players ready to head it in,in the end it was played back across gordon who had little chance.

second goal, defender could have cleared it, tried to control it, missed it and it broke to solano, gordon tried to get back across but was again overly exposed by the defence, it went by him, hit the post and came flying out where it hit off his ankle and went in. in that situation not many goalies would have saved teh shot, just bad luck that it went in off.

gordon is having an excellent season but none of the sunderland back line is anywhere near his standard, i see him moving on in teh summer toa bigger club after sunderland are relegated
agreed on everything mate and i was just messing with you about Gordon.

The first game i saw him play i knew he had something different in him. He will come in good, Keane should've thought more about his defense imo

Jol steps down as Tottenham boss

Spurs are third from bottom in the Premier League
Tottenham Hotspur manager Martin Jol has parted company with the club after their poor start to the season.
Jol tendered his resignation before taking charge for the game against Getafe - a 2-1 defeat in the Uefa Cup.

Spurs, who are third from bottom in the Premier League, have won just one league game after spending heavily during the summer transfer window.

Sevilla coach Juande Ramos has reportedly agreed to become Spurs' new manager at the start of next season.

It was claimed Spurs met Ramos in August with a "dizzying" offer to replace the 51-year-old Jol at White Hart Lane.

The Times newspaper has also reported Gus Poyet, the former Tottenham and Chelsea midfield player, has been approached to become the assistant manager.

During the defeat to Getafe in a a Group G game Spurs fans gave vocal support to the Dutchman singing "Stand up for Martin Jol" during the match.

Jol took charge of Spurs in November 2004, taking over from Frenchman Jacques Santini and under the Dutchman the club twice qualified for the Uefa Cup.

Having recruited the likes of Darren Bent, who cost £16.5m, Gareth Bale and French defender Younes Kaboul during the summer, Tottenham had high hopes of challenging for a Champions League place.

But Spurs have suffered a disastrous start, recording just one victory - the 4-0 win over Derby in August - and since the reported meeting with Ramos, Jol has faced constant questioning over his future.

yup he is quite impressive bozi, but i think most the of the goals that he concedes is due to the fact that the defence sunderland fields is just average if not poor. i have to agree with the bozman on this he just needs time and he will be really good.

@ sateeh: here is sth that might help u change yr opinion about criag gordon:

ManU wants to break their very old record, winning 4 game in a row with 4 goals scored in each. Boro is there to stop them. :smoke:

Guess not! :D Jose forgotten at Chelsea? Hm, maybe. Man City will start to fall down the table the more they play big teams, really over achieved in 1st few games, true form will show. They even gave Sheva a charity goal! Ex-Juve man Kapo with 2 more goals today.

does any one else apart from eriksson rate casper schemicel?? i dont know i think he holds alot of the responsibilty for the goals man city conceded.

i am going to watch tomorrows liverpool vs arsenal but its just hard to prredict how this one goes. i think liverpool will want to make up for there loss this week end in the cl.
