No don't be silly, I was clarifying the difference between pre teen children (especially as small as 8) and a near adult teen, who are on the last stretch of childhood but pretty much women at this age physically. Pretty much agreeing with you / stating the obvious, so chill.

Regarding the punishment, you addressed in another post, not saying it should be severe as the hyperbole suggest, but that he defenitely deserves to be punished still.
Oh yes, he should definitely be punished. His behaviour was morally reprehensible, but equally important is the fact that he knew it wasn't legal and chose to do it anyway. Under those circumstances punishment is totally justified.

Its not really a legal thing for me, just a little socially meh to be stalking down 15 year old gash when youre almost 30. Seems it would be easier to get an escort.
He was caught breaking the law and he knew he was breaking it. It's also a law that is in place to protect people who cannot protect themselves and is applied in all of the western world. Some punishment is in order.

It's absolutely pathetic, even when we were 18-19 and someone we knew invited girls that age we would give him a hard time, imagine doing that at 30? At leniest shunned by most he knows at worst beat the living shit out of him.

Being an Inter fan is pathetic too. Doesn't mean you should spend four years in jail though.

:agree:

When I was teen Canada had 14 as age of consent, but that got raised to 16 in 2008. There's also a 5 year close in age exemption for age 14-15, and a 2 year close in age exemption for age 12-13.

I always found it bizarre that anyone out of secondary school would ever want to be with a teen still in school.

True, a public beating would suffice.

I could say the same for your very easy going approach to borderline pedos.
Not really. I think he should be punished. I have my doubts about sending a man to jail for four years, destroying his career and his life, for what was essentially consensual sex though.
