Yes, pretty amazing stuff from the lone centre forward that he was around the box for crosses. Even more amazing that he should be in there for a corner, as he was on his goal.

Seriously, lol.

Yeah he's a beast in the air, but Villa are a crap team just relying on getting the ball into him. Liverpool will mix it up more with Coutinho and Sturridge when fit.

all he can is score from the crosses, some people can't understand it
So? Even if he did just that, he's pretty damn good at it. What exactly is your point?

that he doesn't suit to scousers style of play, like Carroll and Lambert
I think anyone can see that Benteke is a far better player than those two. His biggest talent is indeed scoring from crosses, but he's much better with the ball than those two.

Correct, he was very good yesterday, recovered some balls, passing was very well, scored. Surely an upgrade over whatever they had last season.

An upgrade for which you have to completely rebuild your style of play, while Benteke is a disaster when it comes to passing - against stoke 58.1%, against Bournemouth 67,7%, against stoke they've made 12 crosses, against Bourn 11, once again they are having the lowest rate of the number of crosses in the epl yet they've playing with big centre forward that forced to come closer to centre to fight for long balls, forced to play too deeply, they had the same problems with Lambert and Carroll

The problem for him is still service, he has hardly had any chances so far in their two games. He's had 4 shots on goal.

Anyway, last night's goal was offside.
