Some managers win it with lesser teams, others do it with bigger teams. Mourinho couldn't do it with Real Madrid when he had more resources than any other manager in the world, he couldn't do it with Chelsea when Abramovic was spending money like crazy. Now I'm not saying he should win a CL with every team he manages, that's not the point at all, the point I'm trying to make, is that I think it's a completely baseless assumption to say he's done it with lesser teams, so he must be able to do it with bigger teams.

I also don't understand the notion about winning the CL with Barca can be done by anybody. How come? How is it different than winning the CL with Real Madrid? Do Real Madrid have a lesser squad? Do they have less resources?

Pep IMO is a better manager than Mourinho, but the margins are so small I'd agree it's highly debatable. For me, the way Pep has dismantled Mourinho in head to heads, in addition to being extremely efficient in winning league titles, all the while having his own philosophy and brand of football makes him a better manager in my books.

But the expectations are so high at Bayern. He was put in the unfortunate position of taking Bayern right after they won the treble. Almost anything could be considered failure after that. People forget though that Heynckes despite having that flawless last season with Bayern, actually didn't win any major titles in his first season.

I actually consider Aguero to be alongside Suarez as the two best strikers in the world currently. This is of course not considering Messi and Ronaldo, whose starting positions at least are on the flanks, strikers.

5-3 isn't such a bad result, especially taking into consideration the absences and injuries he had. As for his first season, he lost a big result to Real Madrid and got completely dismantled, in an otherwise almost perfect season. Show me a top manager who's never lost with a big result against a top team.

As for you disliking him and his brand of football, well that's a matter of taste, so no arguments there.

I'd say that's taking it too far, both have set the standards so high for themselves that people view them not being completely perfect as failure, whilst other managers having the same result with the same resources would be considered success, so they are IMO victims of their own success.

Although, I would say Mourinho does seem to look like he's out of touch with reality with his quotes in the media, though I'm sure most of it is mind games that he does not believe himself.

As for Pep, ya him trying to outplay Barcelona with tiki taka football taking into consideration Bayern's absences was borderline delusional. I do believe sometimes he buys into his own hype.

I doubt that. Jose is the type of Manager who would give his life in the dressing room, there's a reason why whenever he left a team (except for Madrid's last season) players were emotionally affected and were ready to go anywhere for Mourinho just to be with him.

What he does in public has played most parts in winning titles, he's so good at it, he protects his players in an incredible way and I am sure he motivates them like no other.

I think I'd give anything to have a Manager like Mourinho but it's also easy to dislike him when you're playing against him.

Maybe last season I'd say on par, but Aguero is far away the better striker, the guy is unmatchable to any striker IMO, I would say Suarez is 2nd best to him.

There used to be a goal for their behaviour though.

Pep played without a striker to confuse the opposition. Now he's just randomly playing players out of position or starting with three defenders against the best forward line in history.

Mourinho was all about protecting the locker room and his staff. Now he all out attacks someone who just did her job and brings a lot of focus on Chelsea, instead of diverting it. To make matters worse he also just lost 3-0 to City and now he says it was a 'fake' result. WTF?
