Moneyball? You mean sporting statistics? I'm sure they do, most football clubs use statistical analysis as part of player acquisition nowadays. I don't think it's used as much as when Comoli was at the club.

The problem is that we have 4 guys with very little experience trying to play the transfer game. Which is how we end up going for Sanchez and then moving to Balotelli, or losing out for Willian and grabbing Aspas.

I'd argue that you need to give a lot more room to Markovic, Lallana, Moreno and Can, by virtue of their talent and age. You can't rubbish those players so early on. Pretty grim reading anyway, if you are a Liverpool fan. The point being whether they will trust this guy to spend another load of their money, in a vital time for the club.
