I watch all the big leagues, but the most exciting in terms of game play has been the Bundesliga for me, at least when Bayern isn't involved. I don't care much for EPL matches apart from when Arsenal and Tottenham play for humor reasons only. Mid to low-table teams in England are worse to watch for me than the counterparts in Spain and Italy.

Bundesliga should overtake the EPL in the comming decade imo.

Attractive league to look at (imo), excellent sponsership and marketting going. They just need to be able to get english commentary on their games to get broadcasted outside germany

This doesn't make sense, why should they get english commentary when you can watch it in your own language?

This was always going to be an issue with hiring Van gaal following a world cup campaign, unlike chelsea for example they did their business early on, van gaal has had very little time to work with and fully understand the work his team needs, i wouldn't be surprised if they had another knee jerk end to their transfer campaign, what i find surprising is that the club's management knew that they had to replace the likes of vidic and ferdinand in defence yet they have failed to address that issue, then to only be left with one natural left back? having sold buttner and evra that just screams incompetence. With each passing day the premiums for these top players increases and the window of opportunity closes more. once again poor miscalculations by the club directors and van gaal will practically have to work with $#@! and hope that his managerial qualities will somehow push the team into the CL which i can't honestly see happen at this rate

I agree, though they tried to keep Evra, that has to be said, and i find it classy that a club listens to a players wishes, especially when they are fair and after what he has done for the club. But apart from that, it seems like the club hasn't had any sporting strategy at all, it was all just left to Van G to figure everything out... Poor poor management, and i find it laughable that they felt the need to state before the transfer window that they had no budget because they had so much money they could do what they want - well get your fists out each others asses mates

you would have thought that they would have learnt their lessons from last summer's travesty. I was never Moyes' biggest fan but evident of the last 2 summer transfer campaigns i can almost say that the problems within the club lie far deeper than the manager

So true. Their management seem to be really good at doing bussiness, but not really being able to drive a football club. I bet Sir Alex and his crew took care of the sporting side, so they would only have to focus on the bussiness-side of the firm...

the one thing that has cracked me up in laughter this summer is how man utd fans (including those i know personally) keep going on about how they have money to spend and how money talks... yet they don't seem to know how to spend it

players like januzaj couldn't save them last season, blackett has played in most of the pre season games and impressed and even if man utd had a host of good youngsters they aren't going to get them CL qualification

their problem was poor strategic management once again.

the governing organisation of the EPL receives a crapload of cash from foreign broadcasting the league. Considering every decent human can talk english a bit, language isnt an issue in there.
However, few speak german, so if they think about foreign broadcast, they should offer an english commentary for international broadcasting

It's not like English stadiums are empty....
Also "global" fans are at least as important as local fans, because global fans generate income from TV broadcasting. In that sense bundesliga has no chance of coming close to EPL anytime soon.
