Friend just said the guarding is about to publish a massive transfer story in a cohple hours. Says he heard suarez to real and benzima to arsenal.

Granted his is an arsenal fan. So take this with a gooner of salt.

Brendan Rodgers has said Liverpool are prepared for a Real Madrid bid for Luis Suárez but has reiterated John W Henry's claim that the striker will not be sold.

I'm not a huge fan of Tottenham's first move being 35M for Willian. I mean, Anzi has zero leverage and they get 35M? Marotta would get Willian for a loan + option FFS.
1st move? They spent 70M before the Willian deal. Willian would most likely be completing the replacement list for Bale.

As for the price. They had to outbid Liverpool who were at 30M.

Chelsea should just go for Eto'o, they have too many AM already. A striker excuse to stop playing Torres and they will be a force again. (edit: they already have Lukaka and Demba Ba) Not sure how strong Chelsea are compared to the other CL contenders but way stronger with Mourinho than last season with RDM.

It's in central midfield that they are really lacking.

I don't understand how Man Utd and Chelsea go year after year without correcting the obvious weakness they both have in that area.

At least Man Utd are trying to sign a midfielder this summer.

Well, they have Lampard, who looks great still, Ramires is a solid player... and, um... Essien? :lol2:

Maybe Mata will be gone to Man Utd as part of the Rooney deal.. :boh:
He's been their best players the last two seasons, I think that would be a disaster. If they sell Mata to anyone it should be to Real, where he started his career...

They're pretty light-weight for having such a potent attack. :agree:

What I meant was first move with the Bale money unless they were spending that money long ago perhaps.
