I agree looking at the midfield point of view. It was still a very solid mercato. We improved two parts of the puzzle but weakened the another piece of the puzzle.

I feel like the media is throwing names out there at this point to keep the papers selling, I doubt we were even after Sissoko or this other guy from Seville.

Its a shame about our midfield turnover but I really think it won't be as weak as it is now for long. Yes, I know its a long shot with the injury issues of the past and current but if somehow inshallah :)D) we can keep Asamoah & Khedira fit and Marchisio/Mandragora come back and are eased in properly I think we wil be fine this season albeit weaker than last year of course.

    Not just The Sun, but The Sun on Sunday, which is awful trash.

    Still, a player with his attributes would be useful to us. I just wonder how motivated Fabregas is these days.
