I agree looking at the midfield point of view. It was still a very solid mercato. We improved two parts of the puzzle but weakened the another piece of the puzzle.

I feel like the media is throwing names out there at this point to keep the papers selling, I doubt we were even after Sissoko or this other guy from Seville.

Its a shame about our midfield turnover but I really think it won't be as weak as it is now for long. Yes, I know its a long shot with the injury issues of the past and current but if somehow inshallah D) we can keep Asamoah & Khedira fit and Marchisio/Mandragora come back and are eased in properly I think we wil be fine this season albeit weaker than last year of course.

yeah, me too. we can do that with a loan+option though, which is why i didnt understand us refusing that kind of deal. that part probably isnt true
