Pogba was only possible because of raiola and of course because his mentally weak. Matic doesn't have this type of an agent, plus Chelsea don't have some stupid ass policy if player wants out. It can't be compared and won't be compared.
We should push for it if we really want him. What you said is simplistic but if player wants the move , we should push hard for it.

We shouldn't settle for 'easier' deals.

 There is a higher probability of us luring Naingollan away from Roma, then getting Hamsik from Napoli. Hamsik is a great player, but no chance!

We should offer him a 3 year contract, 4 years tops. Anything beyond that is ridiculous. 4 years should be the max.
Well yes and no... Dealing with Roma should be easier and an agreement should be easier to reach BUT I see Nainggolan rejecting the move even if a deal is reached!
Hamsik might be tempted even if he is in love with Napoli!

Here's what I don't understand sometimes.

They say Matic is the most difficult to get yet having lost one of the best players in your team, you replace him with acceptable quality rather than 2nd and 3rd choice options like Witsel and Matuidi ? I'm sure Pogba would've been the most difficult target to get for United too no ? Out of all options.

Why do we have to be content with plan c's and plan d's even now ?
All the trolling aside, I will be majorly disappointed in Marotta if he settled for Witsel.
I'm sure matic will come running if we offered to triple his salary

It's so much easier in serie A to push and get it. I don't think it's simplistic at all.

Since when have we pushed hard for a player we got outside from serie A? Probably pjaca but that was in competition with milan and he was coming from Zagreb. Only one I can remotely think of was mandzukic who was "apparently" linked with other clubs.

I'm not saying its not possible but rather don't think it's within us to do it. Not the way we work. We are immensely relying on the player power here but all this has no substance without it.

I don't see either of them coming. I wish we had someone like Allan now, or I wish we'd gone for Sanches from Benfica before Bayern got him. I really like the Bayern model. They hardly ever overpay, and always seem to have a stacked squad. I also think they offer competitive salaries, but nothing too crazy.

Bayern doesn't pay anyone more than 8 million net, iirc. I think we can offer 7 million net, so we aren't that far off. I don't see players pushing to leave Bayern, even with EPL clubs offering to increase their salaries by 60%, 70%, or even 100% in some cases. Muller has offers every year, but he chooses to stay put.

#CdS: #Juve have reached an agreement in principle with #Matuidi over €6m net. #Marotta has offered #PSG €20m+bonuses, but they seek €30m

If this is true. .. €6M net :ratcafe:

He earns 5.5 million now. 6 million net for a solid player who isn't anything special or spectacular is kinda retarded.

Bonucci and Marchisio are two examples Bro. How about Vidal and Pogba then? We have sold 2 of our best players in two consecutive mercatos.

Our Italians do the same thing and reject much higher wages to stay here. That's why we need the next generation of Italian players to be good enough for our team. Guys like Berardi, Mandragora and Sensi are the future, hopefully.

Vidal i think we wanted to sell and i ddisagreed with that move however with pogba it was 100% clear he was moving this year after he securedhis image rrights.
also i think the direction his career and priorities are going we did good to cash in on him now
