No I meant in specific context to the Higuain deal. if that happens it has to be said, we have had the best transfer market not just in Italy but all of Europe. United fans can consider themselves second even if Pog doesn't make it.
If we were to get Higuain and keep Pogba, it is times like this that makes me wish that Juve were in the EPL. We would absolutely destroy that league with this squad.

CL is where we make it happen. Once and for all. Although I would not want to come up against Conte in the CL. Can you imagine when he goes up against us and says it's not easy against big teams while he reminisces where Cheksea have reached.

I love how people care about how much money we spend as if it's their own money. If the club is willing and able to spend 90M on a player (which I sincerely doubt anyway) then I trust them to know what they're doing.
I mentioned this before :D

It's as though people think our management is going to put us on the edge of bankruptcy. I'm pretty sure our management won't spend more than they are certain they can afford to with a healthy margin for error. They've made that perfectly clear with how we have operated over the last 5-6 years. And perhaps the last 5 years of relatively frugal spending and smart sales have allowed us to stockpile a bit of a war chest. Either way, if we spend 80-90 mil on single player (unlikely), we won't be doing it without knowing we can afford it.

A squad could be as large as you wanted until now in Serie A (aslong as you could afford the depth). But now it's capped at 25 ala CL rules and like CL you need 4 club grown players and 4 domestic grown players to be allowed to get 25 man squad of players over 21 years old. We only have Marchisio and third party goalie Audero as club grown players so we won't be able to have 25 man squad. So we need to trim our squad to like 22 or 23 (basically anyone be signed means someone has to be sold).

And fill the gaps with under 21 years old players. For us is pretty much only Mandragora (and Audero if he stays). And Gabriel Barbosa if we sign him.

We care about the teams performance now and in the long run. One of the deciding factors of the succes of those performances, is how over management decides to allocate the money which are available to them. I dont think anybody has the impression that our management would purchase a player we could not afford, but I for one think there are better ways of splashing 94 mio euro than on Higuain.

Sucks for us, but I like the changes.

Has just been confirmed that the mysterious south american searching for a house in Turin was (and still is) Higuain. Source: TJ
