Serious question, you seem to be against Gabriel Jesus even tho he is dominating the Brazilian league right now (and is possibly the biggiest up and Comer in the continent at 19), but you are for the 4 years older Calleri who isn't doing anything special in same league? (according to Brazilians in XT). Is your hesitation the price or something else with Gabriel, and why do you prefer Calleri?
Calleri shows up on the big nights, he's just like morata, clutch. He's one of the hottest players in Brazil i don't know why you think he's not doing anything special. Anyways Calleri will not cost 50 mil, is more mature, showed he can play in other setup and made transition seamlessly, he is mentally strong and is a CF, which is what we really need now. Gabriel Jesus is a bunch of question marks that will cost half a pogba, no thanks.

That seems very good, I heard he was kind of mid level flop earlier.

Flop? He's the libertadores hottest player

Pjaca's rumors to juve are getting serious... Does it mean that we abandoned about Black J and the potential buy of Berardi next season ? They play the same role and I don't see the benefits of taking this Pjaca, he's a winger
Black J was never an option it seems more fantasy than reality.
The real option it seems is buying back morata he wants a return and Allegri wants him as first choice. We have kept constant contact with his agent

What do you guys think of Mata? Now that miki is a man utd player, I'm guessing Mata will want out - and obviously mourinho hates him. I'm thinking 20-25 we can get him.

@Tanu_Mz could you please answer me a question. with all the info we got so far, i think we can more or less know how our squad will look next season. Benatia likely coming, another midfielder (ill put Mascherano, but could be someone else) and a Morata replacement (lets say Milik for right now). Pereyra, Hernanes, Neto (loan), Licht probably leaving. so heres how the squad would look:

Buffon/Mirante/Audero (or Pinsoglio or whoever)

Barzagli/Benatia
Bonucci/Marrone
Chiellini/Rugani

Dani Alves/De Sciglio
Alex Sandro/Evra

Mascherano/Lemina
Khedira/Pjanic
Pogba/Marchisio (Mandragora until he returns from injury)

Dybala/Milik
Mandzukic/Zaza

+ Sturaro, Asamoah

and here is the problem. too many midfielders and the attack looks thin. 8 midfielders (9 if we count Marrone) when we mostly play with 3 is too much. Asamoahs agent has been saying that he will stay, we most likely wont sell Sturaro and Lemina most likely stays too. meanwhile, if we dont get someone whos atleast as good as Morata in attack, we are downgrading there. my question - what are the chances we sell another midfielder (out of Asamoah, Lemina, Sturaro, hopefully Asa) and add an additional offensive player on top of the Morata replacement? doesent have to be a striker, maybe keeping Cuadrado or signing someone like Pjaca on top of a striker. id like to know what do you think with all the info you hear

let me be clear, i absoultely hated Mandzu when he was a bayern player :D but...

-he runs like a madman for 90 minutes straight. he's basically our first defender - just ask Don Jupp ;)
-he is a worldclass header.
-his dribbling/ball controll/passing is pretty decent.
-one of the most important things: he brings the best out of Dybala.

overall i think we'd have to spend a significant amount of money to get a player who is slightly better than Mandzu,
which isn't worth it imo. a morata replacement/first back up striker/rotation striker who is able to break into the starting 11 in a few years is more needed imo.

Mandzu - Dybala works. no need for changes. i forgot about Dani Alves and Alex Sandro crosses into the box:tuttosport:
Come on. Let's be serious. Does Mandzukic bring out the best in Dybala, or did he simply just play so often with Dybala that he happened to assist him on a couple of occasions? Also, are you forgetting all the times Mandzukic's lack of all around ability killed counterattacks, or the fact the can't really do anything more than a layoff or a short pass? I'm not calling Mandzukic terrible, but people only need to watch Croatia's exit to see why he can be a liability. Croatia were playing beautiful football and it was when Mandzukic got the ball that almost every attack died. Mandzukic's greatest quality other than his strength and heading ability is his workrate. Which is important because Dybala doesn't defend much and sometimes at all. Something which most people seem to forget when they post their ridiculous fantasy lineups with Dybala as a winger.

Anyway, Mandzukic is someone that needs to be replaced as the starting CF. If not this season than surely the next.

We won't get both due to cost but positionally it's one FW and one winger / AM. Room for both in a squad.
so lets say we sign both, and both develop into starting caliber here, and Dybala is also here, how would we line up? 4321 with Dybala and Pjaca behind Jesus? or Pjaca and Jesus behind Dybala?

Fully agreed  His obvious limitations needs to be acknowledged. We will have big issue next season if we don't get Morata caliber player that can give something extra when Mandzukics approach isn't working.

I would want him here, if he's available for 25-28 mil. But if ManU got Miki, are they out of the James race? Could James be that South Amecrican ChampiON? :tuttosport:

One of them on the bench most likely. Or trio attack as you suggest if they both too good to bench. GJ is natural left forward, I know less about the croat but his main position seems to be right wing.
