Dani Alves isnt a bad player - He is actually a good one but some here hail his crosses like he is the best crosser in the world while I hear everyone outside of this forum say he crosses to the sky...
Lemina isnt Pogba and will never be Pogba - He is just a player to complete our bench
Pjanic is our real deal signing! definitely a quality signing

Caceres left which isnt a big loss in terms of quality but it is a loss of depth
Cuadrado - is a loss of quality but I`d say Alves isnt a bad replacement although I do think the difference will be felt
Morata - This is definitely a loss of quality as he might not be a definite starter but he was important in rotation and he added some important qualities!

So overall Pjanic and Alves for Cuadrado I`d say our overall mid has improved!
Morata need to be replaced and while the Croatian guy is quite talented he shouldnt be regarded as Morata`s replacement!

P.S I read on Calciomercato that we are interested in bringing back Morata. Maybe I misinterpreted it but I think this is what it said there...

If the season started right now we're set to go in every department except in the attack. Marotta really needs to bring in quality replacement for Morata. That's the priority.

Sanchez would be amazing on so many levels. Serie A and international experience, versatile, grinta...

I agree.. especially since the arrival of Benatia means that our lead formation this season will still be 3-5-2, which in my view is perfect for this Juve.
I think unless Khedira injures himself again. we won't see anothe CM arriving this summer, and that could be good news for Mandragora.
Anyway obviously we need a WC striker, Sanchez is a dream but I hope Morata will understand that Benzema is still first choice at RM and we'll get him for 40-45... Chelsea got Batshuay, ManU got Zlatan, so we're left with Arsenal and maybe PSG, if they decide not to give Cavani the lead ST role.

I'm optimistic.. take your time Marotta.

I need some good news after the Italy game. Buffon needs to win the CL, we need to win it for him and the other legends that went to Serie B with us.

Is Benatia close to a done deal? Haven't seen any statements from clubs, player or agents, only journalists saying terms are agreed between all parties.
If we get him, we are only in real need of a competent striker, while selling a few of our midfield back ups to bring a more promising player would be a bonus, especially since we risk periods with both Khedira and Marchisio injured. Lemina, Sturaro, Pereyra and Asamoah are all players i like, but are they up to the task? Are Hernanes deadwood after the arrival of Pjanic? Or should he be kept for the first half of the season to rotate with Pjanic until Marchisio is back and fit? I guess Lemina is seen more as a Khedira sub, same goes for Sturaro who just is a different type, so things will depend on game plan. Will Asa be a backup for the Pogba position, but play a slightly different role? And where does that leave Pereyra?

Hernanes will rotate with Pjanic? that's blasphemy.
Would you play Sturaro as the central of the midfield three? I just wonder about Allegris plans, because it doesn't seem like he trust Lemina in that role.

Hernanes should be rotating with the night shift workers who come in to replace him after a hard day stacking shelves. Useless.
Come on, he will never be a huge impact here, but he's not that bad either.

I'll play pjanic-pogba-khedira, and when marchisio return he will replace khedira.
That's our best option ATM.
For me the next in line will be Mandragora - but that depends how he will perform in pre-season training.
after that Asamoah\Lemina, and then Pereyra\Sturaro. Hernanes should leave. we have far too many midfielders.

We might keep Mandragora for half a season + Lemina played there before, he can play some games there depending on opponent. But yeah, it will be mostly Pjanic. Hernanes is a goner

Hopefully the Khedira injury isn't serious, but it goes to show that another midfield acquisition is a must, unless of course were serious about letting Lemina or Sturaro get some hard minutes in all competitions. Anyone with real quality really goes, as an attacking midfielder goes well for the 4-3-1-2 while a defensive one for the 3-5-2.
