I know that list. But who is sportsmedia?
Why are they reliable enough to judge football brand?

And most questionable thing, aubameyang is more markrtable than messi and C. Ronaldo.
Marketability and ability are two different things. Think Beckham and Figo. With Pogba and many on this list they have youth on their side, with football there is a constant clamouring for the next big thing. Pogba is the face of modern football, the prototype of the next generation of players.

That is some kind of value for money list on marketing potential. That's why it heavily favors some of the up and coming athletes rather than the superstars like Messi, Ronaldo, Lebron or Federer who we all know would dominate the list if it was only about marketing value.

He is the most marketable player in football right now. We need to be PAID if we're going to sell him. Part of the fee is not his ability, but his marketability.

I agree he is overrated, but there is no player with a stronger brand right now.

he has right now all the talent in the world...but he has a long way to go and he is overrated...not in talent but in final product. I have to admit that in the last 4 months he really improved and looked like the final thing tho.

But yes, we need to be paid because he is extremely hyped right now and everyone wants it.

The team that gets him needs to offer something specia<l

Around one third of all Juve jerseys sold last season had Pogba on the back, his value can't be overrated. He is a franchise player and you need those in order to grow your revenue at a decent pace.

I heard Laudisa claims Real will 100 % buy Morata back. What's the latest? I hope we can keep him.

I feel like we should try to bring in the Cavani kid. I know he didn't do great on his loan spell for Inter last season, but i think it's mostly down to the bad players/management surrounding him. He was great for Sampdoria before though, prolly because he was with Beppe, the man who signed him after watching him play in the streets of montevideo, no wonder he was almost like a father figure for him. I'm pretty sure they both would like to be reunited, and hey! wouldn't be the first time we revive a player's career.

    @Fr3sh
If you ever put Cavani and Inter in the same sentence again I'll fuck you.

Potentially, pogba will be most marketable in the world. I agree.
    But currently? I disagree .

I also believe, it's about potential value. Not current value.

Give me one all rounder player who is better than Pogba?

Hamsik - Sure he is a great player but I dont think this is where our management are aiming..

Isco will be great and will contribute a lot to our possession game - Also I dont think its impossible to see Isco Morata and cash for Pogba even if Real mind seem set on keeping him!
Hazard is impossible unless we splash all our Pogba money on him which will be a huge mistake!

Someone mentioned James - He would be great but I cant see it happening!

Kroos is a very complete player probably the one of the few who can play Pogba`s role (although not as good as Pogba)
Complete or well rounded is not the same as saying he is the best. Iniesta has been the best for some time without having a defensive side to the game. He was just exceptional in possession. Pirlo was the best again because of his unmatched vision and long passes without any semblance of a defensive side to his game.

As things stand there are players that are better than Pogba at particular tasks. Iniesta is still much better in possession. Modric is a much better passer. Kroos and Pjanic are better passers. Vidal is better than anyone else defensively and can hold his own very well offensively as well.

Pogba and Vidal are the best well-rounded CMs in the game in terms of skills set but both need to bring it to the pitch much more consistently than they did last season to be counted as the best midfielders. Vidal was the best B2B at one point and seems to be returning to that insane form again. If he can keep it up next season he will become the best again. Pogba needs a season where he brings it in the CL and doesnt have a long rough patch like he did in the first part of the season.

It depends on the role you are talking about...
Iniesta is indeed something brilliant attacking wise while his defensive duties are not remotely close to Pogba therefore if you are looking for an attacking midfielder Iniesta is better
If you are looking for a central mid thats another thing...
Vidal is definitely someone who you can Pogba with but Pogba has surpassed Vidal this year (last year Vidal had the slight advantage but Pogba has improved)
Modric is a better passer of course he is so does Pirlo but it doesnt make them better...

As for the last part - It is called adjusting to a new role...

By the way It seems it will be a cash only deal as Real seem to take Morata back as confirmed on FI
    So Batshuayi here we come
Meanwhile we are linked with getting 3 players instead of Pogba - Valencia's Andre Gomes, Palmeira's Gabriel Jesus and Sevilla's Grzegorz Krychowiak
Gomes is good and has great potential but currently he is overrated! Jesus is probably another overrated Brazilian while Krychowiak will give some defensive stability!

P.S it would be so funny to win the CL next season without Pogba just 1 year after he leaves for Real (not to mention Vidal`s reaction after leaving for better chances of winning the CL...)

Man we agree Pogba is more rounded but you are comparing his current level to players that have bossed the football world for years. Iniesta played as a CM and as always as a very important player for Spain and Barca for almost a decade now. Pogba has potential but I have no idea why you think he is already a better CM. He is more well rounded in his skill set but he is far from being as influential as iniesta or Pirlo were.
