yeah, that was pretty obvious since the new rules kicked in. we've had 19 non-homegrown/non-'italygrown' players in our squad instead of 17, so even if we loan/sell neto and bring in mirante, and with caceres gone, we have to sell a player in order to be able to buy one.

I am not sure that is true. IF it is true, then that is more of a worry as it may imply that a Pogba sale is possible.

homegrown = was registered for at least 3 years at the club between the age of 15-21

Think will padoin will stay for his last year (contract till 17), hes only earning around 700k wages so I dont see a reason wed let him go, hes a reserve player and I only included him as a formality. That being said, would his sale be beneficial in relation to the new rules?

Unless we're looking at someone not mentioned as a target so far, if we want to play 4-3-1-2 we're going to be converting a midfielder to play CAM, like we did with Vidal and Pereyra.

If we got Pjanic + Kovacic/Gomes, I could Allegri experimenting with Pogba playing as a CAM, allowing him to focus on attack, and maximizing his massive talents going forward. Especially if we get Gomes who a Pogba style player, only much more defensive-minded.

Kovacic and Gomes have about the same style, driving the ball, dribble and playing through balls. Not pure TQ but they can definitely fill that role.

Pogba as a CAM is setting us up for failure I'm afraid. He's so much better when he has space and I wouldn't name passing as one of his strongest suits either...

Yes it wulf. You can't afford to waste spaces if you can only have 25 players on the books... Padoin type of guys are probably going to be the victim at better clubs...
