Khedira - Mascherano - Pogba
(Lemina) - (Marchisio) - (Asamoah)
(Sturaro) - (Hernanes) - (Pereyra)
(Padoin) (Mandragora)
Mascherano is staying at Barcelona. If Mascherano wants to leave we need still to pay around 20 millions I think, and we won't do that.
If BPL is interested in Sturaro, Pereyra or Asamoah and they bid above 30 million, I will accept it directly and invest in an midfielder.

He is right. Number of alternatives is irrelevant. When one or two of ideal trio is missing, team perform like Ascoli. We saw it at the beginning of the season, against inter and milan in coppa. We need to replace at least two of the subs with high calibre players.

we don't have mascherano (yet, and i don't believe he'll arrive), marchisio is out for ~half the season, khedira is limited to 20 games. we surely have depth, even a bit too much maybe, but i'm not sure about quality.

I was replying to a scenario where Mascherano was signed.

I'd say if anything we have too much depth in that scenario.

BTW Turk, this is never going to happen:

    Khedira - Marchisio - Pogba
    (€30m) - (Mascherano) - (€30m)
    (Lemina) - (other) - (other)

With Marchisio out, all those back ups are pretty far off that starting three. They're all capable, but they're question marks.

Pjanic would be perfect. He's versatile enough to play in a three man mid and in the hole. And he's good enough to compete for a spot, without any injuries. You couldn't say that about any of those aforementioned bench players. I'm confident that they could do the job. But if we want a truly strong midfield, a Gomes, Mikhytarian or Pjanic would be nice.

One more season of having a lethal big game player on a low salary (we already saw how much of an extra push he can give us in tough times) and 5 mill more in profits from Madrid. Whats not to like? Would you have wanted Tevez to leave one year earlier than he did just because it was inevitable?
There is no 5M extra proft

    Agree with the rest

To me, Mascherano and Berardi have priority. In mind, that Dani Alves has already signed. When they both arrive, you can sell one of Asamoah, Hernanes, Sturaro or Pereyra. Depends on the price. Then the central midfield is covered with Pogba, Mandragora, Marchisio, Lemina, Khedira, Mascherano, Padoin, Berardi, Sturaro/Asamoah/Pereyra/Hernanes. That is enough quality.

If Morata leaves is basically up to Juventus. Outbid the rest and he stays, simple as that. Morata can grow further and Mandzukic is the ideal stand-in.
May Morata leave, and you want to win the CL, add Ibrahimovic to the team. I know it is very controversial but with Ibra in this team we become unstoppable.
Another option I really don't know yet, as forwards has to acclimate. And with a ambitious season this is tricky.

For defense we already have a lot of options. We can always add a promising youngster may the opportunity arise but keep in mind we already have Rugani. The back positions are covered for a couple of years.

Dani Alves, Mascherano, Berardi, full ownership of Morata and (may the opportunity arise) some promising youngsters and I am satisfied !

    Change ibra with another else.
He just has big name. We can not pay him 7m euro just to see his awful display at CL.

Maybe, maybe not. I guess it would depend on the adversary. Clearly, having the ability to switch to a back 4 is a positive. I personally would like to see Allegri try the 433 a bit more with Dybala and someone else behind the centre forward.

But I guess, Allegri, correctly, decides the formation based on the players rather than the other way around. If our best players suit the 352 then that is what he plays.

Pjanic. Great player, safe choice - would fit in seamlessly.
Problem is we created the need to use 352 due to the lack of good AM's.

Frustrating isn't it? And it has been for half a decade straight?
    It sure is.

Ibrahimovic knows Juventus, knows the Serie A, is not afraid or impressed in CL matches, defenders are always cautious when Ibra is on the field and he is f*** hungry to win the CL.
I totally agree with the fact that he is a very controversial player to bring, but you have to agree that his skills are insane. He could be the attacking force to push forward in the CL. Not saying he is the only option, but he is free (apart from loan) and mainly bought to step up in the CL.

With the history of Pirlo, Tevez etc in mind, Ibra could be an reasonable option.

    bjerknes and napoleonic:rofl:

It's frustrating that we've been winning trophies every single year in the past 5 seasons. Beating Real, team stacked with AMs, in last year's semi final was also frustrating.

Why would 3-5-2 be a problem? Fantastic formation and it's been our set up on and off for the past 20 years. Lippi's Juve back in 1998 played 3-5-2/4-3-1-2.

We play 352 because we have three center backs that are undroppable when fit. All three are among the very best of their generations and will easily be classed as Juve legends when they retire, who would you bench out of them? Which AM is good enough to justify benching one of them?

signing zlatan for any side with cl winning ambitions isn't the best move. besides the obvious (zlatan never won the cl, and most probably never will), his cl knockout stage goal record is plain rubbish. this season he missed a penalty against city, and while he scored a goal from open play, he missed some huge chances as well. he also has a gigantic wage bill of around 9-10 millions a season, so if you want to have him for 3 seasons, it would cost around 55-60m gross in wages. i'd rather spend half of that on morata, who - unlike zlatan - offers no guarantees in the championship, but is a proven player in the cl knockouts, with still a lot of potential.

Instead of putting a detailed response to this stupid claim I`ll just say this: Before joining Juve - What has Tevez done in the CL?! What has Tevez done since joining Juve?!

    This.

Its been showed several times how reliable 352 is with RIGHT players. Mascherano (or pjanic), Alves, and Alex Sandro will make our 352 capable of winning CL.
