I think Sturaro should be loaned out for a season he needs to play more and ideally have more responsibility in his teams play. Here he is just the ball harrier and he has the players besides him to take all the responsibility off him. He needs to develop his game to be able to do more more than just run around to make it here long term. I would't be against sale with a buy back option inserted if Kante leaves Leicester Sturaro could be a great fit there.

Loaning out Sturaro is pointless.Just sell him or keep him as a depth option.
I disagree as he clearly needs to develop further. As I said I'm not against his sale but would like to have an option to buyback if he manages to improve his game. I think we are at a point where if we decide to sell some of the younger players we should always involve a buyback option just in case.

Buyback options involving Sassuolo or Genoa perhaps not those rich English teams who are too proud to accept buybacks either way.
What you posted was a fantasy scenario.A 20th place PL team can comfortably buy a €20-€25m player these days let alone Champions-elect of England who wouldn't need a buyback to buy someone like Sturaro lol.

If Leicester were to buy Sturaro and win the PL again he must be a 50M player. In fact with the crazy prices English clubs pay he could be 50M pounds as well, I mean he is winning albeit in an unimpressive manner. He could be Sturaro 9000...

PS: Some of those title-winners in Barca and beyond are racking up salaries in the magnitude of 150K pounds per week and more. Compared to them Sturaro is very economical, toyota-esque solution.

If Cavani comes, he will be a star here. If he is bought I dont really see a place for Mandzukic. Cavani with Zaza as his backup and Dybala+Berardi would be agreat attack, with the starting two (Cavani Dybala) better than what we have now.
I really liked what I saw from Mandzu this season, but Im pretty sure that Cavani can be twice the player for us.

I just mentioned them as an ideal destination don't get caught in details can be any team that suits the players needs.

Could be any English team but realistically buybacks would mostly be a reality involving smaller Italian clubs or some broke Spanish clubs than an EPL team imo.Even the worst team in their league can buy the Sturaro's of this world without breaking a sweat and the whole point about having a buyback is selling a player at a reduced fee to accommodate the clause.

Mandzukic should be sold only if Cavani is realistically gettable and I have my doubts over that.
We'll see.

But as you said we don't need both Mandzukic and Cavani on the same team.Cavani with Zaza as backup would be the ideal scenario.

I completely disagree with that the point is to get a talent in your team that otherwise wouldn't be available just like we did with Morata. Barcelona for example have sold Deulofeu and Adama to PL sides with buyback options.

Those Barca players you mentioned are kids and highly rated.

So was Morata when we bought him.

Sturaro isn't highly thought of in the international circuit which is a key point which is why it's unrealistic to enforce a buyback if you're looking to ship him off abroad.

Fair enough. Don't see Sturaro going anywhere to be honest anyway I just think some time on an another team would benefit him.

As much as I like Cavani, I wouldnt sell Mandzu AND add 20m for him. Our attack is great as it is. We need CB (at least one), RB/RWB, CM/AMC more than we need a ST.

Id just swap Benatia for Coman
Nope. We'd be getting the short end of that deal.
Hummels wans to move to Bayern

Benatia to Juve

What would that mean for our CB rotation?

Rugani would be the odd man out?
Rugani will be a pseudo starter with Bonucci. I've given up all hope of having Barza and Chiellini fit at the same time for an extended run. Getting an injury prone Benatia is just going to add to our medical bench and nothing more. That said, I wouldn't be averse to a loan deal even though I'd prefer a younger, more dependable sub (in terms of availability).

23 million seems a lot for Benatia

He only cost 26 million when he was 27, in good form and not injured. Now he is two years older, been in bad form and injured frequently.
