If we are not selling a big player (Pogba), we have to spend some this year if we are serious about keeping Allegri and making a run for CL glory(which apparently most of our top players expect us to and might decide to walk if we fail)... right?
Lets do some basic algebra:
+/-Zaza covers Morata ... almost ok
- 30M - Gomes
- 30M - Berardi
- 12M - Caio ?
- 10M - Lemina
That already is over 82M euros, without any reasonable income from sales on the horizon. It doesn't cover the LM/LW position,RB, we don't have a starter AM (Pereyra?) and Berardi is coming full steam into completely unknown waters, trying to adapt to a new position in a new system with lots of responsibility. Something looks very fishy here. The whole plan is questionable, since we are about to spend 60M on players mostly not covering the important gaps in this squad.
Where are we gonna get at least 40M in sales?
