Benatia (From Coman's 22M price)
No because Coman is on loan another season for which we will get 5M. Bayern have an option of 21M for the summer after. The only way for us to "exchange" Coman for Benatia would be to get Benatia on loan + option and both clubs activating their options which would make most sense for us considering his injury problems. Still cant see Ancelotti getting rid of Benatia so easily

How about, we sign both his brothers, and have them shuffle the same haircuts, abd we deliberately sell the wrong one to madrid

I'm not sure why everyone is so dead set on getting a marchisio replacement. If Lemina shows his quality in the last 5 matches of this year and the Coppa, then he should be given every opportunity to be the starter next season until Marchisio comes back.

Yes, he is a different type of DM, more athletic and aggressive, while being less elegant. If it were up to me, I would rather have a 22 year old Lemina nearing his potential, than a significantly older player coming in to be a Marchisio clone at 70% of what Marchisio is.
Lemina replacing Marchisio is quite stupid as even if he plays well he is not the type of player we need to replace him!
Marchisio is our current organizer. Pogba can play Marchisio`s position but then Pogba attacking pros goes to waste just as he seems to get better and better at it!
Therefore we need an organizer! Naingolan could have been a good option but he doesnt like us much
Oscar is an interesting player he is too soft and therefore I`d pass on him but given our position with Marchisio we need to re-think it...
Willian is a player I really like but Conte wont sell him...
Tielmans is my pick as he is young extremely talented and even if he is a gamble he is a gamble worth taking at this time

What type of player do you see Lemina being? Remember once upon a time Marchisio was not a DM organiser, he didn't end up there until fairly late in his career. Lemina so far has shown quality whenever he has played, but I'm aware that there will be reservations about fielding a young player there. It's a position where experience comes to the fore.

You dont think they will be able to notice the difference if they have the same haircut? Do you suggest that all black people looks alike, just like all Moroccans are on steriods and do martial arts?

    Is Yaya a free agent?

    - - - Updated - - -

Wage wise its unrealistic but I'd definitely do it for the right price. So not 12ml a year or whatever bullshit he is on at City.

I think he can grow into that position, I cant really think of who he reminds me of though.

Yaya has one more year on his contract but doesent want to stay because of Pep apparently. I doubt he is ready to take a paycut as be can find teams willing to match his demands

Therefore, you want: A wet noodle, A winger, or a 19 year old from the Belgian league to come in and replace Marchisio. How do any of these aforementioned players provide a better alternative to Lemina, especially when all three would be very expensive to acquire?

He reminds you of a more aggressive type of DM, and there is nothing wrong with that. Is it so wrong to have a different midfield approach while Marchisio is recovering?

Absolutely not. Im curious to see how he goes these next few games, we must remember he had tendinitis in one or both of his knees as well. Im sure, given that they have plenty of time, the brass wont leave us in the situation we were in at the start of this year.

Idk if there is any team that is able fulfill Yaya's salary demands and actually want to do it. I mean any decent team, not talking about China team or Inter (this fuckers are crazy, I bet they sold Moratti's kidney to keep paying Strama and Mazzari salaries when they fired them).

If we bring a marchisio replacement...what we will do when marchisio comes back and we have one extra guy?
Maybe we should only bring Mandragora and keep Lemina as the starter for the first few months

    Khedira-Lemina-Pogba
    Sturaro-Mandragora-Asamoah

Considering Hernanes leaves and that Mandragora is only 18 that would also free a very needed spot for a new signing.

Maybe not Mandragora, but another young u21 kid that we're interested in could take the same role.

Would Mandragora count as homegrown if he spends the next 3 seasons here?

He obviously wont get 12M at age 33 (unless someone goes full retard) but still can find teams that will offer more than what we would be ready to i guess.

Yeh, buy/loan again Lemina and give him a go. This upcoming 5 games will be a very good sample to see what lemina can do. this games Will be crucial for him and they come in a moment where we are very solid positioned in the league. Perfect moemnt IMO.

Nah, bring the man. He seems to be a very good physical and to the point midfielder, and he can play regista. The only issue would be experience.
