RVP was worth it for United without a doubt.

Not sure what you mean.
He was in the last year of his contract. There was juventus negotiation a reasonable wage and fee according to the situation.

Man utd just splashed a sum that Arsenal would agree with, especially for a want away player in his final year instead of bargaining it down like we did. They then just took his existed contract and upgraded it, where as we were going for alot less.

United didnt even bother to took the reasonable path. They trew a huge amount, that was silly considering the situation. Proper silly.

It wasn't that much more than our final offer was iirc (all based on news reports that could easily be BS anyways), and they had to offer more because Arsenal naturally didn't want to sell to a direct rival.

He was top scorer the next season and performed pretty good the season afterwards, good return on investment regardless.

No. Hes a year too late
That's a pain in the ass, the same happened with Pogba I think

Nah, bring the man. He seems to be a very good physical and to the point midfielder, and he can play regista. The only issue would be experience.
Yeah but considering how many midfielders we have I don't think that'd be an issue, he can gradually gain experience and would provide us with depth without taking any spots from the roster, that's good.

1. Buffon
2. Neto
3. Audero(1)

4. Barzagli
5. Bonucci
6. Chiellini
7. Rugani
8. Reinforcement

9. Lichtsteiner
10. Cuadrado/Reinforcement
11. Evra
12. Alex Sandro

13. Khedira
14. Marchisio(2)
15. Pogba
16. Sturaro
17. Lemina

19. Morata
20. Dybala
21. Mandzukic
22. Berardi
23. Zaza

24. Homegrown(3)
25. Homegrown(4)

Even considering Padoin, Asamoah (or Pereyra) and Hernanes left the spots on our squad are almost all taken. The way we could add dept is having young players (u21) that won't take a spot on the squad.

Can we have u21 players that count as homegeowns? that way they wouldn't take a spot and would help us reach the goal of 4 homegrowns
or we could also add a 2nd goalkeeper that is a homegrown player, De Sanctis/Mirante?

If I could choose they also leave and I would bring a DM and a CM instead... But there's also the scenario where Morata and Cuadrado leave and I really don't wanna talk about It in this point of the season

You don't want Lemina to replace Marchisio but Nainggolan would be a good option? wtf

- - - Updated - - -

They are brothers. Stop trying to find something racist in everything he posts
Nainggolan might dislike Juve but he still is a great player an a very good organizer
Lemina could replace Khedira in terms of playing style although Khedira is 10 times better of course...

I just dont get the hype over Lemina - He isnt that great...

Therefore, you want: A wet noodle, A winger, or a 19 year old from the Belgian league to come in and replace Marchisio. How do any of these aforementioned players provide a better alternative to Lemina, especially when all three would be very expensive to acquire?
Organizers Lemina is not an organizer while those 3 can definitely organize our play from different areas on the pitch

Padoin is very likely to stay. Im not so sure we will get a 5th CB

Iirc we were tabeling around 15 mil, and he went for 30. Our wage offer was not far above 6.5 mil, where as united was offering double.

He did good for them yeah. But my point is that when an EPL side wants a player, they'll splash cash for him without even bothering to negotiate. They'd be in horrible shape if they would have the same financial resources as other teams.

Nainggolan isn't an organizer in the slightest. Has rarely played that role for Roma. De Rossi has been there DM (aside from the few occasions he plays as a CB in a back 3-very rare), and he organizes there play out from the back. When it's not him, it's been Pjanic... Even Keita has played that DM--organizer role more than Nainggolan.

Nainggolan is a pitbull of a B2B midfielder... and while he's an excellent player, passing and organizing play is not at all one of his strong points... playing him as a regista/DM would be a waste.

Needless to buy a Marchisio replacement. The prediction is for a torn ACL is 6 months but nowadays players can already return in 4 months time which would even make him ready dor the start of next season. It is a waste of money to buy someone for such a short term absence...

indeed, but it is the perfect excuse for Marotta to bring more mediocre CMs, that was planning to get anyway.
He will use this injury to justify them, saying that we needed someonevto fill in, but not quite starter material, because Marchisio will eventually return...
