Its not too good to be true.
Its a very very realistic signing but what's too good to be true s us paying 24m for him considering his injury issues.
If we are seriously pursuing him, then 3-5-2 will be the main formation and if we pursue an AM,it might probably be Saponara level at best.
Let's see.
Obviously 3-5-2 is easier to build on for the moment but we're still missing that creative spark especially when Dybala has off-days.
tbh we are doing good with 352 and it can be improved but we did better in 4312 last season even with vidal behind the strikers, i know we didnt play 4312 all season but it was mainly used in CL as i remember.
if we are going to shift to 4312 next season then we dont need an CB we actually need an RB to rotate with Stephan.
the three in front of defence are good and can be improved with a creative CM on the right, but next is the complicated part, the AM, we will buy someone or we will fit someone, the options is limited in the market but like u said saponara could do the job, another way but i dont know if it works and i think some people mention it is getting berardi as a second striker and dybala behind them or the opposite.
tbh i dont bother about mercato anymore, i dont know what marotta will do,planning or buy, every year he pull some kind of surprise but i am sure of something, he is doing great job in general.
just imagine if marotta get another two surprises transfer like sandro, ok not two just one AM or CM.
