40m enough to tempt Bayern to sell Thiago Alcantara?

Guys seriously..u could double that amount and the answer would be the same. Not for sale. He is the only creative midfielder and the goal is to add another creative midfielder to the squad to not be totally dependent on Thiago anymore and people really think Bayern would even think about selling their crown jewel. A player where even a blind could see how unique and amazing he is.

That u think that a laughable amount of 40m could maybe be enough to lure him away is disappointing to read. @CrimsonianKing

I agree with RB and CM. I don't think we need Berardi but he's interesting. I've also got no idea if we'll even use an AM because of the Cuadrado/Berardi potential situation (+Pereyra), but a quality one would be useful.

I think if we bring Berardi in we should switch to a 4-3-3/ 4-3-2-1. Pereyra can play as a psuedo winger as well.

That looks pretty good to me for both our CM and CAM problem and would involve one expensive signing and one free signing.

Let Caudrado return to Chelsea and get a proper RB like Ven der Weil or Aurier. If morata leaves then get a new SS kind of striker maybe Berardi or someone better if possible.

All I know is that every time i've watched him play he leaves me with a positive impression. Intelligent, creative and good on the ball.

Another one that comes to mind is Thiago. When Pep first moved to Bayern and brought Thiago in making him play a deeper pirlo-esque role that guy was impressive as $#@!. Those long passes were delicious and his vision way above average. Problem is 1. probably too expensive 2. injury prone.

Who else could be an option?

The other question is what do you think is the most we would pay for a top CM/CAM? 40m? Might be enough to tempt them, no?

i didn't watch Van Der Veil enough to compare but Vrsaljko is Juventus bound with all the stuff we do with Sassuolo.
Well i'd rather go for Sme at least he is 24 (VDV 28) and knows Serie A. Plus he can play on the left as well as on the right.
About the RWB stuff i dunno usually for Sassuolo he plays in a 4-3-3

People drawing these squads should consider Marrone. He's HG just like Marchisio and we need more players like that whether you like it or not. Marrone is having a very decent period right now, finally passed his injury issues and he's a decent DM to have. Good passing, corners and FKs, decent height for a DM. Good at intercepting, not so much at tackling.

Other than that I expect Cuadrado to be bought and Saponara/Berardi coming in, or even both (depends what happens to Morata and Hernanes). It will be a quiet Summer I guess.

we knows that any player in the bundes is worth 100-200m and totally impossible for the poor italians. Now be good do us the favor to go into french teams forums telling them how they should be glad anyone buying their players.

Lol, like we were midtable with Marrone here under Conte? Mind you the kid has improved since then, at least some aspects of his game.

4 + 4 requires us to use HG players like Marchisio too. Guess what: The only player that qualifies for it is Marchisio (plus an additional 3rd GK which is irrelevant). Like I said, you like it or not the rules are here to be implemented soon.

I dont think we need Banega if we do get Pjanic. Marchisio, Pogba, Khedira, Sturaro, Pereyra, Asamoah, Marrone (as 6th CB in 352 and 8th midfielder in 4-3-1-2. hes returning from loan and the logical thing to do would be keeping him considering we lack hg players), Pjanic. Thats 8 players for 4 spots. + Padoin who is probably staying and can also play CM. Thats good and deep enough, no matter the formation and any new CM signing would be too much considering we are limited to 25 players. Also, Pjanic or another AM like him allows us the following:
Pogba-Marchisio-Khedira (for the 352 or 433)
Pjanic-Marchisio-Khedira
Pogba-Pjanic-Khedira
Pogba-Marchisio-Pjanic and in the 4312:

--------------Pjanic
Pogba-Marchisio-Khedira

Kovacic or Gundogan could fill this role also, but they are more unlikely. Cant think of any other players available out there good enough for us to do the same so Pjanic seems like the obvious target, if Roma doesent make the CL and there is not a bidding war with EPL top clubs over him...

Would Real sell him for less that they paid? They dont have to sell him and can ask huge numbers...
Im guessing between 40 and 50 million for Pjanic, but considering the prizes around we shouldnt be surprised to see even 60M depending on who is interested

Imagine if we sign Criscito... he is also a homegrown, can be the backup LB in case Evra leaves to MLS or retires and can also play LCB in 352
