a 433 with Cuadrado & Berardi, who both are only good on the right...and with Dybala as lone striker.

now that sounds great. i'm all for it.
who also likes playing from the right. but rakib is probably thinking Sandro is so good he should have a side all by himself

You know why we got him? Because We didn't fuck around that time. they asked for x, we paid x. (no, not that @X :shifty:)

IIRC City were the only other "big" team being linked to him but we acted first and closed the deal fast. Also based on what I've watched on some of his interviews, he supported us against Barça and always liked Juventus. So probably an easy choice on his part.
That's why I was surprised.

no, he chose us over City. im quite sure they were offering more than us
I remember reading Man City were gonna offer him big money in the summer when he could leave on a free. :boh:

No. We just paid the amount asked of us. City offered the player more money but asked him to go for free. Sandro respects his old club and left for a club that paid for said sum.

If city offered the same amount instead of trying to get him on a free, then we might have seen a different outcome or he'd be here for more €€

I remember reading we had to get him now or he'd go there for free but it came from the media so who know how true it is.

Juventus: all in for Cavani
By Football Italia staff

Paris Saint-Germain's Edinson Cavani is increasingly being linked to Juventus as Alvaro Morata is expected to head out.
Previous rumours that the Bianconeri would mount an assault for the Uruguayan striker in case the Spaniard left are being confirmed, once again, by new reports from multiple sources.

Both La Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttosport published articles today suggesting that Cavani is the main target for the Old Lady in the next summer transfer window.

Morata's departure is now treated as a likelihood rather than a hypothesis, as the player is expected to be purchased back by Real Madrid for £30m and then sold again to a Premier League club for a higher price.
Juventus are expected to offer Cavani a four-year contract for €7m per season, which is just €1m short of what he currently earns with PSG.

:tuttosport:
-----------------------

It will be a blow if we see Morata go, but we are handtied on this one unless morata pulls a bunny from his hat and saves this mess.

Anyways, if we sell him...Cavani would be ideal. A forward with winning attitude who gives zero fuks and scores like crazy.

If morata wants to go one step ahead in his development, he needs to sort his mentality and turn into a decisive striker. I feel he struggles to get that killer instinct needed to be that man. Players like Cavani and Zaza got it, sadly zaza is no morata but with hardwork maybe he can even surpass him with goals.
