As soon as Zaza leaves Matuidi will come IMO. And Cuadrado will be back, not another striker as I think Max will use 4-3-3 with wingers more this season. Cuadrado and Pjaca would be perfect to break down those tough defenses.

And then I hope we'll be able to get Kovacic on loan if we manage to sell Hernanes and Pereyra.

Yeah, I don't see how this isn't a no brainer. A quick survey of statistics shows that James > Isco.

In 17 games as a starter last year: 6 goals 8 assists. 8 of those games were at CM. Isco in 21 games, 3 goals and 7 assists as a starter. Isco's performance doesn't even approach James' especially when you consider multiple seasons.

His location still says Turin. He updates his social media a lot - there is no reason it shouldn't say London.
Maybe updating his twitter bio isn't high on his priority list.

Cesc? He'd be a good signing. Last season was clearly an aberration. Players who are that good for their entire careers don't just suddenly start being shit forever. Something very strange happened at Chelsea last season which made Hazard look like Jorge Martinez.

Too bad we don't need Fabregas. We need a bully in midfield. Having all that technique and flair will be for nothing if we don't have someone to win the ball. Mascherano would have been a dream. I would put my left nut on Juve winning the CL if he came (eh, fuck it. Double or nothing).

I have faith that Lemina could well become the player Marotta is looking for. The boy is very strong in the tackle.

Awesomoah, Disco Stu, Lemina. Marchisio isnt really a pushover either.

Thing is, if you can sign Fabregas and the scouting/coaching believes we can make him play to his potential, its the highest priority.

Yeah, i want Matic. But you cant pass up Fabregas
But Pjanic-Fabregas-Marchisio would be a bit piss weak, wouldn't it? Real have Casemiro, Bayern have Javi Martinez, Barca have Mascherano and Busquets, PSG with Matuidi...

we arent going to play both Pjanic and fabregas in a 3 man midfield without some destroyer.

But we might go pjanic, khedira, cheesio, fabregas

The greatest real madrid i saw of the past decade, had Xabi Alonso and Khedira holding a 4231 with Ronaldo, Ozil, Khedira and Benzema/Higuain

And they were absolutely insane at 11/12

He is fairly active on digital media. It could be nothing, but his activity level makes it a bit suspicious.

Mmm Khedira, or more likely Pjanic and Marchisio would make a very solid and balanced holding pair. It would only happen in a 4-4-2 though. It's imperative that Higuain and Dybala play as partners.

Is he still on holiday? Or is he training with Chelsea?
