I agree with Pogba being better defensively, but in terms of creating and consistency Pjanic is as good if not better. Pjanic created much more chances that Paul but Paul's chances were dispatched better at Juve so they had equal assists but that doesn't show the whole picture. Pjanic isn't a downgrade but just doesn't offer the physicality of Pogba that we need to replace.

Matic would be great, and IMO if Asamoah manages to stay fit (a big IF I know) he is better tan most guys we can get. A midfield of Marchisio, Pjanic, Khedira, Asamoah, Sturaro, Lemina and hopefully Matic or someone similar is one of the bests in the world IMO.
