we can do the same with Kovacic who can also play CM and DM, and would be 2x cheaper than Isco

If we can't get quality midfielder then it's best to close the Mercato and put our faith in Lemina. He's young, explosive and still has lot of room for improvement.

Fuck Witsel, Matuidi and other washed up players.

Pjanic - Marchisio - Lemina. IMO this is more balanced then having Khedira at RCM.

It would be a disaster to go into this mercato without adding to this midfield. We NEEDED to add to it without selling Pogba due to injury issues, without him we need at least two good midfielders if we can sell couple backups.

Absolutely. 2/3rds of our supposed best midfield trio are injury prone. And the bench has injury prone players too. We need at the bare minimum one solid midfielder. Ideally we need 2.

Osman. Isco is not a player for juve. I said this for years and will continiue to do so.

Give me a matic, matuidi, herrera, gustavo...

We dont need a cam with awfull efficiency. We need to cope with the continue'd loss of physicallity and aggression. Thats a main focus.

We added Pjanic and it was an awesome and full CM. Now we have to replace a player that offered everything, dribbling, passing, defensive work.

Last year our midfield was Pogba-Marchisio-Khedira. This year it's Pjanic-Marchisio-Khedira.

Pogba has already been replaced.

Lemina looks to take a step up this year so he might be good enough to rotate with Khedira which is an improvement over last year.

But we are clearly lacking a vice-Marchisio. That's why Matic or Gustavo seems likely. But I'm not sure that another CM on top of that will be in the cards.

Yes Pjanic will be replacing Pogba
No he hasnt been properly replaced as we needed to improve our midfield and in fact not only we didnt improve our midfield we have weakened it! How? Pjanic vs Pogba the later is clearly the better player!
Pogba has contributed defensively and in attack creating a lot + his shooting is a constant threat! Also Pogba is physical which give us physical strength in midfield!
This is why our mid has become weaker!
The point is to make us stronger and Pjanic+Higuain made us stronger in terms of overall but in midfield we certainly became weaker!
a great box to box player is needed in order to complete the 3-5-2 formation

Obviously if we sell Zaza we will sign a forward and IMO the Gabigol thing isnt over yet!
