he earns 5.5m in Napoli. It's not exactly astronomical
So we're going to pay him the same? Obviously not. 5.5 paves way for a significantly higher wage at his next club. For our club and wage structure yes it will break it. We are doing well where we are keeping it stable, there's no need to go crazy.

:beppe: is just bidding for Higuain to scare Napoli so that they offload him to a foreign club ASAP so that he can't join us. And by doing this, he eliminates any small chance Napoli has of beating us to the scudetto next year.

Not that they really had a practical shot at that, anyway. With Higuain, their chance of overtaking us was around 0.01 %. Now it's 0 :beppe:
Hope that's exactly it.

Situation

IN
Pjanic : 32
Lemina : 9.5
Benatia : 3
Pjaca : 18
barbosa : 20

total = 82.5

OUT
Morata : 30
Zaza : 30

Total = 60

Current net spend : 22.5 mil

75mil Higuain - 18mil Pereyra = 57 mil

Projected net spend : ~80mil

Past few seasons we have been around 60 mil net spend if i'm correct ?
When will you learn haha. Pereyra cost us with transfer fee and salary 5,80 million euro per season and we still have 11.30 million euro debt left. So if we sell him we save 3 million euros salary before tax. Plus if we sell him for 18 million euro we get 6,70 million euro plus. Morata was 16 million euro plus

Pjanic cost us 17 million euros per season, with Dani Alves and Benatia thats the same cost as all players left Cuadrado, Caceres, Morata, Padoin, Rubinho.

Higuain would cost 30 million euros per season thats like 6X Pereyra. Dont get blind on transfer fees haha.

Yes yes, i wont even need to see that finisher delivering his promise, just get one, but not another SS, a finisher!
3 years for sure,as we cant expect him to buy such things every year and he is good at adding depth anyways, we only need that difference maker at goalscoring and this happens to be Marotta's biggest career weakness left (and selling for profit of course, but this is bound to get rectified from the Pogba sale)
He got us a couple of WC foreign LBs, a top foreign CB, thats 2 of my 3 decade long main complaing points, there is only one left now! We are almost there!

As you see our cost for the team is the same. Thats without Benatia my bad. He will cost 5,6 for salary if you believe the reports of him earning 2,8 million euros before tax. Maby it will be a little more first year because of the loan fee we pay Bayern ( 3 million euros)

Maby this will give a better understanding to some people how it really works.

Whatever Higuain comes or not. Something big is happening in the background. We've already sold Morata and probably Zaza for something close to 60m combined. We now have only two strikers and obviously need to spend to bring in somebody.
With Wanda Nara talking about 50m for Icardi and now these rumors about Higuain something is going on. Take the 60m into consideration and some big name striker is coming.

Now whether that is Higuain, Icardi, Cavani, Alexis, Benzema or somebody else is the question.

If you'd bother logging on more often, you'd realise the silly mistake you are making here.

For several seasons we read the insane mercato news, and a few posters including myself have been trying to explain that it was all impossible, how it works, etc.
Thing is, thats useless, as i've told you allready, but you chose to ignore it.

Even if i think you are a cunt for acting like this, i'll explain you how we do these things on this forum. So do read this, and you will have a better understanding how it really works.

In the financial thread, you can post the above list. We actually have a few people who are quite good with this, and its always an interesting discussion on how we are doing, why we arent in the position of higher up front cash, more down to speading payments by starting with a loan, longer installments etc.
Yep, we got just the thread for you :)

Out of that thread, you can get a general impression on whats financially possible on the market. Which usually isnt that much, as juventus is very very tied by its expenses in wages, a huge deal in the peninsulla.

What we usually do, is hammer down people's expectations with realism. No we cant get that 32mil14milwage Van persie, etc. No we cant "lets break the bank for Cavani" etc.
The best part of your post is that i'm arguably one of the most negative in mercato expectations the past seasons, hence why its idiotic to quote me on this.

However, our management has made it clear it wants to do an effort. We see a turnover boosted this year. Alot of the player fee's have been done, and we are removing quite a bit from our books.

Do i think Higuain is possible ? Well, maybe you should be a good submissive swede, and look up my 40 posts on how we are going 3 forwards and how Barbosa would be the only offensive signing. Yup. I'm fairly convinced its a far to big financial investment.

But is it possible if we are willing to make an efford ? Yes it is. Its a huge commitment, but we could do it. It would be uncharacteristic for our management tho, and this transfer news is probably shit.

But this is the mercato thread, not the financial thread.

I hope you managed to learn something today.

PS Dont forget to post your list in the financial thread

Zach on fire lately
Nah, he literally couldnt have picked a worse victim, and then talk down in it with a condescending tone.

Not in my house, where i've spend years on crushing hopes and dreams about the mercato ffs

Jem, think of all the things we had to weather to defend the great man, before even the blind could feel his incandescent light upon them

You act as its impossible to understand, maby for you. Its hard to know exactly how it works in detail yeaah, also hard to get exactly everything right. But to be close is not hard, its give you a better understanding.

Finances and transfers go hand in hand. You write the transfer fees we would receive for players like Morata, Pereyra as It would be money we could spend direct on another player. Nothing about salary, cost per season, how much money did we earn from the sale.

You can continue playing Fifa 16 or football manager in the transfer thread. I will see things for what it is.

I been here longer then you. Dont act as you own the place. I just dont post everyday like you. I dident want to crush your dreams, neither did I say you are optimistic about Higuain or the mercato. Im just saying your logic about the money in and out is more suited to Fifa or football manager.
