Yeah, they went through some really rough times. Particularly the singer, who actually was declared dead for a couple of minutes in an L.A. Hospital in 1993 during their SOFAD (Devotional) Tour, from a heroin overdose.


The band haven't confirmed it, but everyone consider this song of theirs to be about Dave Gahan's addiction. It's a fantastic song, and it has plenty of guitars, so I think you'll like it
