ok ok, the champions league was a f**kin disaster for Arsenal. But Man U n Chelsea didnt come out roses either. Chelsea went to the Nou Camp and parked the team bus in front of their goal. It was clear from the whistle that Mourinho was relying on luck to produce a result for him. Well, someone did say that fortune is blind and takes care of fools. Barca scored an own goal through Belleti, after wasting several chances to score themselves, and it looked like it was syanora. But in the second half, Drogba appeared to lunge at the keeper, and earned a second yellow and a quick bath. From then on, Barca took charge and it was only a matter of time before Chelski cracked. And they did, shipped two goals, and now look set for a very interesting returtn leg at Stamford Bridge. For, they sure as hell cant defend for 90 minutes when they're down.

As for man u, AC Milan came to Old Trafford and simply locked them out. Without using the team bus. Comical goalkeepng from Carroll gifted a goal to Crespo, and suddenly things are looking really rough for that secong leg. All in all, i think only Liverpool have a good chance of going through, but time will tell.

I am kinda happy that Chelski won it. It'll give them confidence necessary to hold of ManUre in the coming weeks. When both of them exit the UCL in 2 weeks, it'll not be such a body blow for Chelski as it'd have been had they lost today. :D

Gerrard scores his first for Chelsea...many more to come???

Anyway...Arsenal have a serious chance of losing today, they are playing in the FA Cup 5th Round replay...And they are missing:
Henry (Achilles)
van Persie, Reyes and Bergkamp...(Red Card...3 match bans)
Pires (back injury)
Campbell

Against a team who when they played them 2 season ago in the Semi's were SO lucky to get through, in fact they only got through because leading up to there goal, the ref blocked one of the Sheffield United players from tackling Vieira...

Sheffield Utd 2-1 Arsenal...bye bye Gunners!! BBC 2...8pm tonight...if you watch it, watch for Sheffield Utd player Phil Jagielka!

DAVID PRUTTON will receive a minimum 10-game ban this week after his assault on referee Alan Wiley.

Southampton's England Under-21 midfielder lost his head when he went to attack linesman Paul Norman after being given a second yellow card for the shocking foul on Robert Pires that left Arsenal fearing a broken ankle.

Prutton, who deserved to be dismissed earlier for an even worse foul on Mathieu Flamini, pushed Wiley twice in the chest as he tried to get to Norman, before being dragged away by Saints boss Harry Redknapp and marched down the tunnel.

And with Redknapp admitting Prutton deserves everything he can get, the FA will use their fast-track procedures for incidents beyond match officials' jurisdiction to administer swift justice.

Prutton is automatically banned for tomorrow's FA Cup 5th round replay at Brentford.

But he will face a serious misconduct charge on Thursday and could be banned for the rest of the season.

Paolo Di Canio received an 11-match ban for pushing over ref Paul Alcock seven years ago while playing for Sheffield Wednesday and Redknapp is expecting similar.

Redknapp said: "I can't defend people when they do things like that. He's going to get a long ban."
