Roy Keane said he feels the opposition no longer have any fear when facing Utd and that they like their chances of beating them, I think he has a point.
Interesting point made by Keano, and it's definitely true. No-one is afraid to travel to Old Trafford anymore.

yeah, but I agree with Jun-hide that they have probably peaked too early-there is no way that they can keep up the way that they are going all the way through the season! Chelsea should also do well, with Mourinho knowing what do to in Europe, and even more quality added....it will be interesting to see how manu do when they are back at full strength, because it looks like by that time Arsenal and Chelsea will be pretty far ahead of them.....it would be awesome if they finished 5th or something!

Even if the Gunners have peaked a bit too early, it's still going to take alot from Chelsea to catch them. They've got quality players in every area of the pitch, with Toure, Campbell and Cole at the back, Pires, Vieira and Reyes in midfield, as well as Bergkamp and Henry upfront, Arsenal won't always have to play spectacular football. They have what it takes to grind out results, and they can also rely on the individual brilliance of their world-class players.

Stability is a very intangible thing.

Arsenal had it for a while now. But this does not mean they will have it forever. There might be possibility that the entire system will break apart given that two of key players are injured.

The same applies to Milan.

Reyes hits the side netting.

I just realised that my two favourite players, Reyes and Del Piero, are wearing the black/silver F50s I just ordered

2-1 Arsenal! Pires!

Ljungberg sets Pires with a low cross and the Frenchman just manages to flick it home.

Premiership Saturday Round-Up
by Adam Marshall - Last Updated 18 Sep 2004

Referee Mike Dean flashed three red cards as West Brom's clash with Fulham erupted in violence.

The Baggies spurned a glorious opportunity when Robert Earnshaw blazed a first half penalty over the bar.

Papa Bouba Diop was the first player sent off following a flashpoint but Fulham still drew first blood when Andy Cole was on hand to score.

Neil Clement was dismissed for a professional foul on Luis Boa Morte but Cole joined him on the sidelines after disgracefully hurling punches towards the West Brom defender.

With the match at boiling point, Kanu steered home a near post header to clinch a point in the 88th minute.

Manchester City perhaps eased any pressure on Kevin Keegan with a 2-1 away win at Crystal Palace.

Nicolas Anelka struck twice, the second from the penalty spot, to ease the visitors into a deserved lead. Palace were aggrieved that former City man Danny Granville's challenge on Shaun Wright-Phillips allowed Anelka to double his tally.

Andy Johnson's penalty at the other end ensured a tense finale at Selhurst Park.

Matt Jansen is back in the headlines after notching the winner in Mark Hughes's first game in charge of Blackburn Rovers.

Portsmouth were incensed to see Ricardo Fuller booked for diving instead of earning a penalty in the closing stages as they slipped to a 1-0 defeat.

Norwich City drew 0-0 with Aston Villa, the fourth time in six games that they have shared the spoils.

There were plenty of chances but two clean sheets mean that the honours ended even.

Dwight Yorke rescued a point for ten-man Birmingham City against Charlton Athletic. Steve Bruce's recent recruit headed home expertly to cancel out Luke Young's opener.

Damien Johnson was sent off for Blues for two bookable offences.

Earlier in the day, Arsenal and Bolton Wanderers shared an entertaining four-goal clash.

Thierry Henry opened the scoring, only for Radhi Jaidi to level matters from a corner. Although Robert Pires's fluke effort put the leaders back in front, substitute Henrik Pedersen salvaged a point with a well-taken equaliser.

Bolton surprising another big team. I wonder if Arsenal are starting to struggle a little, they may hard work of beating PSV mid-week. This could be a good time for Chelsea.

Bolton have done very well against the big boys this season so I don't think Arsenal have much to worry about. They're still unbeaten and they still have a very good side playing very good football. It's possible that they may suffer a dip in form, but if they do it'll be a very slight one, I reckon.
