Baia didnt have the ball completely, he had just gotten it when Keane hit him, Keane only stepped over him, there was no malice involved in it, if there was, Baia would of got injured, he didnt...

OK, but why did Keane have to step on him? he lost his balance? So what, just jump over him and fall on the other side. There was absolutely no need to step on Baia.

He was taking small quick steps on the run up to baia. Its hard to suddenly kick start yourself to take a big leap when you havent got the acceleration. Therefore, he stop a small quick step on baia.

Didnt you wonder why everyone was so annoyed? Baia's reaction got Keane sent-off...Thats why Fergie was so angry with Mourinho, his players were purposely trying to get our playes sent-off, thats why I have nothing but contempt for Mourinho!

Rossi Set For Promising Reds Career - Fergie

United's 18-year-old striker Giuseppe Rossi is earmarked for a bright Old Trafford future having made huge strides in the Reserves following his arrival from Parma in the summer.

Ten goals from 14 starts for United's Reserves has created a buzz around Rossi's development at Old Trafford.

The America-born striker, who holds an Italian passport, was recently instated in United's 25-man Champions League squad as recognition for his impressive performances this term.

His name has been increasingly mentioned among the precious but fervent few that travel to Reserve matches and those who watch the second string on MUTV.

"Giuseppe Rossi is improving all the time," enthuses Reds boss Sir Alex Ferguson. "He has got a bright future ahead of him.

"He is probably the coolest player at the club in terms of his play around the penalty box." Praise indeed.

"He is probably the coolest player at the club in terms of his play around the penalty box."
Sir Alex Ferguson

However, United captain Roy Keane, although acutely aware of the youngster's potential, recently counselled that undue pressure should not be placed on a talent very much in the development stage.

But it is difficult to keep the reins on such a precocious talent; a player that made two appearances as a 17-year-old for the Reds - against Crystal Palace and Arsenal in the League Cup - and one who continues to make inroads into the first-team.

"We had him in the squad for our match at Everton recently," added Ferguson. "He has an absolutely wonderful temperament for a striker."

Rossi should be playing for the United States. That is one thing I will never like about this kid even if he turns out to be a good player. Although I suppose I can't blame him for choosing the Azzurri.

Reminds me of that talk about Holland versus Turkey...

Remember Andy? Ugur Yildirim? You said he should choose Holland if memory serves me right, so it is a similar case. Rossi went to where he's surer of imternational medals. :D

Its so anal that someone named 'Giuseppe Rossi' would choose to play for Italy over the US? :D

How long did he live in the US? And besides you know Italians, dont change a bit no matter where they are.

I think he lived here for a good amount of time. But when you're born here in the US you need to give something back to the US IMO.

Of course I'm just pissed that he did not decide to play for the US. :(

chxta: I never said anything of the sort. I don't think I even commented on Yildirim.
