When you pay some retard player higher wages than some dumb EPL club is willing to :baus:
I don't get why it's so hard to see that by bring a player as a free transfer it's OK to pay higher wages. We are saving a huge amount of money by getting a good midfielder for free and giving him a few million a year more in wages than he is worth instead of paying 40 million and giving him a regular but still competitive wage. In the end I wouldn't care if we gave him a normal salary and a 20 million transfer fee directly to him. It still saves us money.

if one day inter gets relegated due to financial debts, it will be the happiest day of my life. sadly, they seem to be on the right track financially to become relevant again, catching up with us revenue wise quickly. really hope playing on 3 fronts fucks them up and they miss out on CL again next year

All clubs have many delusional fans. It's football.
Can you tell me more about Micheal Edwards and his role in the club please? I've been reading a lot the past few week about statistics use in footie, is he really a Moneyball transfer manager? :p I've read a bit about his background (although not much available, pretty secretive guy), seems interesting, nowadays a lot of room for stat nerds to land a job in football, thinking maybe I should develop my skills a bit and get myself an interview at Latvian footie federation

You're one of the most level headed fans I've seen on a online forum, but you gotta admit man, many Liverpool fans are just flat out delusional.
Agreed.

And its funny because they didnt win their own League even once in 28 years, but still some of their fans have balls to call them bigger than Bayern, Juventus and so on.

They have 5 European cups, but thats the only thing they can talk about these days. Not winning the League since 1990

I think you can argue that over their whole history that they are ahead of us but no way are they ahead of Bayern.

I think the club greatness list (top10) probably goes something like this IMO (trying to consider full history)

Real
Bayern/Milan
Barca/Liverpool
Juventus/Ajax
Man U/Merda/Benfica

...I hope Inter is next when it comes to getting fucked by UEFA.
not gonna happen, they have plenty of money. only ffp is holding them back for a couple of years. they'll slowly become the new city/psg kind of club with rich ass owners, and some hundreds of millions of chinese supporters. suning is a powerhouse, and a smart one. in 6-8 years, inter might become the richest club in italy.

and that's why i'm mad at lazio: without regular cl football, inter could only rely on very slow growth, and would have been forced to sell their marketable players like icardi and skriniar. now they can expect ~80-100m from cl, and won't be forced to sell.

Pretty ridiculous post. Unfortunately most fans think like this nowadays. More CL's=bigger club apparently

I can accept Man United being bigger than Juventus but not Liverpool. They've been a mid-range team for almost 3 decades now.

Juventus is by far the most supported club in Italy unlike Liverpool in England.

I agree with you if you're talking about adjusting for recency. Eg. Only UCL era. However, if you look at whole history with equal weight, have to say Liverpool have a decent ammout of League titles and Europa league/Uefa Cups too.
