Its done for Emre Can. He'll be the first 'gift' for the Bianconeri. The announcement will come after the Champions League final. [CdS]

In order to facilitate the deal, Juventus had to include a release clause of between €50 and 60 million into the contract.

Wow. We're really bending over this summer mercato it seems.

A release clause, a needless acquisition of a 2nd keeper, and Jabroni extraordinaire himself Dumpian for 20 million and a 4 million salary :howler: :baus:

:beppe: :yuck: :inter:

Only you -or Badass- could complain when we sign someone like Perin.
Yes genius. Do you want to know why? How many games does a backup keeper get in an entire season? Also, keeper is not a pressing issue at present. Look at our pathetic midfield and dearth of options @ fullback (with both Asamoah and Licht leaving), and it becomes evident that we need to address those areas first. Then, and only then, should we target a 2nd keeper.

Dude, come on. Donaruma singlehandedly won us Coppa Italia just this week. Imagine if something happens with Woj (and we have Bill the Butcher as our medical stuff chief), and we have some Sturaro as a backup keeper in CL. Midfield is, of course, important, but neglecting gk is not the smartest move.

Worst case we get 50-60 million for a player who cost us no transfer fee

It's really only a problem if he turns out to be much better than expected but it still wouldn't be bad business if we did have to sell him in my opinion

A release clause isn't a problem as far as I'm concerned. We already earned so much money in similar way, bringing in players for free and then selling them (Pogba, Coman, Neto).

Also we have many talented midfielders (Bentancur, Mandragora) on our books and the club surely believes in them. Otherwise they wouldn't insert such a clause.

That's not a fair comparison. W is 28-29 and Donna is 19. Of course the 19 years old will be more inconsistent and will fade away in a game after making 1-2 big mistakes. U don't expect that from an experienced GK.

That was not the point. All I'm saying that gk can lose you game, tournament, season single-handedly. Old/experienced Hart-like gks are very able to do it also.
So why complain about bringing on solid (at least), young but experienced gk for 15 mln?

I'm not quite complaining, but don't want a GK at the expense of a better MID of FULLBACKS. I was just saying Donna type are much more likely to loose you games / tournies rather than a solid GK like we have.

Who is this solid GK? I assume that with Gigi retiring its Pinsoglio, who played whooping 0(zero) minutes of first-team football last year. Oh yeah, he would definetly do better than Donnarumma.
