CalcioMercato's Fabrizio Romano can exclusively report that Emre Can's entourage have indicated their desire to complete the deal with Juventus.

It is said that Can's entourage has sent an email to Juventus saying that they would come to Turin to complete the deal and the midfielder will soon be a Juventus player.

The Italian media has already reported that Can secretly visited Vinovo some weeks ago, but it is very close to being a done deal now.

The contract will five-year long and the player will earn just over 5 million euros a season. Massimiliano Allegri has handed the player assurance that he will be a key player for the club from next season on.

Agent sends email in 'past few hours’ to back up Liverpool transfer happening
Liverpool midfielder Emre Can's contract at Anfield will expire after this season.

By Naveen Ullal - 11th May 2018

Emre Can to Juventus is a transfer saga that has gone on way too long and if the reports coming out of Italy this morning are to be believed, we are at the end of it.

The German international’s contract at Liverpool will run down after the end of the season and he’s already decided against signing a new deal.

According to Calciomercato, Can had given his word to Juventus just before Christmas that he will join them this summer.

Despite the subsequent confusion whether Can will join Juventus or not, the report claims the midfielder is “man of his word” after agreeing to join the Serie A leaders. He will become the Turin club’s first signing of the 2018/19 season.

In the 'past few hours’, Can’s agent has confirmed to Juventus via email that his client’s intention remains to join the club , and he’ll visit Turin to complete the transfer soon.

The Liverpool player will sign a five-year deal with the Coppa Italia winners and earn just over €5m-a-year. The only thing that is pending is the player signing the contract and Juventus announcing the transfer.

Can wants to wait until Liverpool finish their season, which will be after the Champions League final against Real Madrid in Kiev on 26th May. He wants the official communication to be made after that as a mark of respect for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

This has all been going on for so long that everything has already been claimed several times, but the email slant is new and would suggest Juventus have had any worries eased.

5mln per season is a fair offer for a player of his caliber coming for free. As for the credibility of the report, it says Allegri already assured him of having a key role next season even though he himself said he is yet to talk with the board about the next season :p.

This guy is not Juve material or at least has not enough quality to be a starter here.

Hope we get another CM so that we don't have to play big matches with this lousy player.
