Emre Can will sign a four-year contract with option for a fifth, earning a salary of €5m per year at Juventus [Sky]

You can rule out SMS and all other fantasies now. €5M is a huge salary , higher than Pjanić ffs

Already knew he's gonna get such salary, he wouldn't even join us otherwise as he could have gotten that much at Pool

It looks more and more likely he's gonna be our only notable midfield addition

It is possible but getting a midfielder who's a Germany international, already played at high level with Liverpool and still only 23yo is a bargain these days. Even if he gets 5mln/season he will cost us 25 million for 5 years. Assuming he won't become a huge flop, we could sell him for double in three years. Therefore, one could say we're earning money by this acquisition. Also, I have a feeling that with Can's arrival somebody will have to leave. I think it will be Khedira or Marchisio.

Happy about this signing. Can always sell in a couple years if it doesn't work out. Young, german, NT regular...will fetch a nice price. Have a feeling Allegri will slot him in nicely.

English Sky? Because in England the salaries are bruto and in Italy they're net. So isn't it 3-3.5M net?
He earns now 2.8m a year by Liverpool.
