Ofcourse its been a great success story for Giacch from where started off and the sufferings he's been through but sentiment shouldnt cloud your judgement.

I agree. Giacc can cover many positions, but his absence wouldn't really be felt in any of them. We don't need him in attack, in central midfield we have Pogba and Marrone who can cover two positions, plus asamoah and padoin who can cover, on the right we have licht, caceres and padoin, in the left asamoah, peluso, chiellini if necessary... giacc is a great adidas player but wouldn't really be missed if sold
