But they also say, the player's value is double: 14-15m euros. I'd much rather spend the 15m on Vargas. And if I had my way, sign Nani for double that.

8m not bad for a player that 'might' get to the level of Robben. People were happy to spend 6m for that Piazon and wtf has he shown?

Right now, the first 11 are all at their peak. It will be a nice to have someone that could potentially rise a level or two.

Juve needs a bit of luck to reach elite level anyway.

Iv read 8-10m I havent seen 14-15m if that true i would leave him alone but at 8m I think Conte will do wonders with him. One thing about ELia is he is in a bad spot right now in his career. Last season he had a coach that didnt care for him after their disagreement and this year after watching him in his first game hes obviously not motivated to carry on and not happy at Hamburg. Hes raw and young and with Conte being a younger coach and trying to implement a more modern style of play with Juve I think he'd fit in well and could be a very good signing.
Vargas is definitely the safer choice but hes going to cost us more than 15m because Fiorentina are not going to let him go on the cheap and he has shown no signs of even wanting to leave Fiornetina let alone come to a direct rival.
Now I hope Marotta finishes this deal quickly I had a feeling he would only offer 7 hopefully he comes back with at least 8 next time because we need a LW. If he goes this whole mercato without getting a LW he seriously has priority issues.

Piazon has 7 years over Elia, and showed enough promise at 16 to attract Inter, Chelsea and Juventus.
Yeah but that's pure long term ****. Elia is at least good enough to play right now at LW and could still potentially explode. Same as Bale who was just a speedy wingback, suddenly did.
