Oh well, at least it's not Vargas..
I'm not satisfied with this signing, but at this point, with the mercato closing soon, I'm just glad we'll see a better player than Pepe on the left flank next season.
Granted, Elia is technical, I'll give him that, but he needs to put it to more use! If he can do that, then perhaps this signing can prove to be decent in the end.
At 24, you'll still expect him to improve some of his game, though I wouldn't call him young. But unlike Vargas, who's fat and can't develop any further, I think there's still time for Elia to learn a thing or two.
