how can some here bash a player that never got any significant time on the field? i saw him a lot in his first season in germany and he was a pretty good player. his rating that year was 3,58 (kicker), just slightly lower than robben's this year. and robben is praised a lot around here.

get him a full preparation before the start of next season and some game time before writing him off. It is possible he might bring something to this team.

What happened to Conte working with him and him being the difference-making player in our team? Obviously we don't really need a difference maker as the whole team has started to kick ass. But next year, I still wonder if Elia will be our starting RW with a combination of his dribbling skills and a new tactical sensibility and grinta mentality. Would save us buying a RW in any case.
