conte knows and if he deems elia to give to few effort who could tell it better than the guy training him.
conte did even field krasic more often than elia, even though everyone knows that the prefered game and defending in itself is not his best side.
conte fields players just for "trying" to do what conte wants to see from his players on the field (like pepe and giaccherini).
if elia did just do as much as giaccherini he would make us so much better. i mean how stupid do you have to be to be seeing people much less talented be more successful in earning a spot by just running and running and running. obviously it did never cross elias mind if he gave his heart on the field and just ran and defended for the whole training session that he would get a easy way into the first eleven.
elia is hands down much more skilled than people that play, just because those people/players work hard instead of digging their head in the sand after one failed trick/step-over.
