Exactly, Padoin and Borriello Juventus joined in January and right away started to play. Elia had a bad game at genoa but after what? 3-4 months without playing any matches. And what about giaccherini? he keeps putting mediocre performances but Conte stills plays him.
Padoin & Giaccherini have far less competition for a spot than Elia has anyway. Not to mention that they're versatile enough to play in different positions. And both have had more or less acceptable performances when called upon.
While Elia, in our setup, is really only able to play as one of the attacking wingers. And there are a shitload of other options there.

I think we can all agree that judging him based only on those minutes againt Genoa is a bit unfair.
But I also think we should be able to agree that that game has not helped his cause one bit.

Borriello is just odd.

Conte racist :rndh: Got rid of Sissoko :rndh:

But hmm

Yeah Giaccherini can play in the trio of midfielders, although I'd prefer marrone played before him...

Elia had an assist after the Bologna game which I thought was the perfect time to start featuring more, Conte waited to long imo, by then it was long forgotten and it was like starting all over again. Almost like how he used Estigarribia, when he was on-form he played him a lot then dropped him for De Ceglie (who I said should have started from the jump)

Either way Elia has said that he wants to remain at Juve which is encouraging, the kid seems like a strong person and I hope he succeeds, I've wanted him here for like 2 years and I didn't believe it when we signed him

Spanish is very similar to Italian, so no. I don't think Messi would be sitting on the bench if he came here.

And Conte doesn't like players with flair, he must think we have enough of that in Vuci and Pirlo.

he is easily our most skillful winger option, and i have no doubt conte knows this. just doesnt suit what conte wants and probably needs to develop that side of his game.

my concern is that he sits on bench so much, how can he ever improve as conte keeps stating he needs whilst on bench?

@WayJayD Train with Elia everyday. I can say he is one of the most talented wingers in the world and has got a negative criticism #KingElia
