I agree with this. Elia played the world cup with holland but conte prefers giaccherini. A player nobody knew existed before his move to juve. I have followed really close his perfomances and this player is bad. Elia had a good performance against Roma. Great pass for quagliarella. But after that game he didn't get any other chance. It really pisses me off that Conte uses mediocre players instead of Elia.
exactly padoin and giacherini will never change a game like elia changed this game that day. :depressed

Based on this video alone. Giacherini > Elia, far, far better than Elia.

you saw that whole game? how holland was unable to break the bus denmark had parked in front of goal. the moment elia entered the pitch holland created change after change ending up winning 2-0.
giacherini doesn't even get close to be a nt team player. show me a video were giacherini shows the skills elia shows here

I remember seeing that game thinking that Holland has a new quality winger on the way.

That player probably doesn't exist anymore. After 1 year in Italy he's probably thinking more about tracking back and running up and down to please Conte than actually playing his own game.

Anyway, there is only about 3 months left to play and the man has been benched hard for a long, long time. He'll ask for a transfer and we'll probably never going to see any of that.

Yes, we'd be 25-0-0 if only we started Elia. :andyandbarcelona:

46 minutes of playing time, and a 177-page thread on Juventuz. That's almost 40 posts per minute of playing time. :andyandbarcelona:

C'mon man, thats just a stupid response, nobody has said that. People don't think he'll make us champs or anything, at this point we're just interested in seeing him play a few minutes just out of curiosity.

    At Twente, right.

The more bad results we get the more people will call for him, it's desperation as much as curiosity. The likelihood is that he isn't going to change games, but at some point he should be given a chance.

that is exactly how I feel. I never really rated Elia at twente in those days but at that game he changed my mind.

Brother Eljero probably doesn't give a fuck if he plays or not. He's enjoying life in Turin. I still think him and Conte have agreed on when he will play. Maybe March will be his month :boh:
