Elia seems at ease with the ball. It comes naturally from him. This was my frist time seeing him play, and just with some glimpses you can tell the difference.

Krasic seems to struggle with the ball a lot...

He was pretty good on the right tbh. I wonder if he replaces Pepe and occasionally switches with Vucinic, depending on what side we need width and speed.

difference between elaia and krasic:

elai's control of the ball was perfect for the goal. then a calm, clever pass between the legs of bolgona defender to marchisio.

if it was krasic he would have either:

a- did his usual heavy touch and sent the ball to far ahead while he tries to dribble past 3 players and fail
b- pass the ball to a blogna player
Krasic would dribble it past the out line with a heavy touch then attempt to cross after the ball has gone out

nice assist though i failed to see a decent cross from him, he didn't seem 100% involved in the game until he had some shots blocked by Agliardo.
hopefully he will improve with some playing time and a switch in flanks

Well, he started off really shit, looking like he didn't really care he got this chance to play. To make things worse, his first few touches were quite poor, but thankfully that half hour extra time gave him enough time to recover. Got more involved, both offensively and defensively and showed he does deserve a few minutes on the pitch from time to time.

Unfortunately for him, Giacch scored a beauty and Esti is doing well, not to mention Pepedinho. I just hope he can maintain the hunger for success and keeps fighting, because, honestly, he should be able to bench one or the other...

What I liked most was his intensity and willingness to put himself about. It's one thing being fresh and running at a team who were tiring by the minute, but his decision making got better and his tackling back was a good sign. He was unlucky on the finish, hit it a little too early.

don't hail him as the saviour yet... elia did just that: play the ball way to far past his opponent and once the keeper got it, the other time the defender still got it... so don't act as if elia is not prone to that kind of failed tricks

and the pass to marchisio was more instinct than clever or something .. he surely did not mean to do an actually assist (since marchisio was not in an goal scoring position anyways). he just instinctly put the ball out of the reach of the defender and had luck that marchisio stood there

Also after he came in, the first 15mins every attack came from the left, you could clearly see that the team had to get used to him. He gave i believe he made 2 assist which Del Piero shamefully didnt score.
I hope he showed Conte that he can count on Elia when he needs him.

And V!rtual, yeah sure he didnt ment to pass it to Marchisio

Oh please, I assume you really don't like Elia, or really love krasic because else, you wouldn't say this.

Good points, although Del Piero never does anything shamefully, it is always masterful.
