It would enhance our team most likely...but the sole propect of seen our Poggy in psg and then inevitably in Madrid or Barcelona...wants to make me puke
THis. :agree:

All these scenarios or player exchanges or insane cash amounts... We have a guy on contract until 2019, who might be the most marketable player of an entire generation if we can maximize that, and the exposure he'll be getting right now in a CL final against Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Neymar and insane Barca... it's crazy. It would be painful to see him leave before his prime, and experience that prime elsewhere.

Sure, we can sell him at 27-29 years old for an insane fee like we did with Zidane. After he wins 2 CL here, a Ballon d'Or or two, several more scudetti, etc. But to sell him before the age of 25 would hurt, no matter what we receive in return.

lets be honest, even manu and he is one of the most profitable clubs in europ sold CR7 when the big money comes.
And look at them now. Spend the money on hookers.

IN the example kiseergulester posted above, its 3 very good players.

But keeping Pogba has a lot of good things too, more if we can surround him with top class.

for sure improving the squad around him is the best option for juve and till now we are on the right track so i dont think he is moving anyway.

lets hope for the best:xfinger:

I still think pogba is over rated, he cannot be the consistent match decider like those in more advanced position to warrant the pricetag and hype given to him

If pogba is like platini (best goalscoring am ever?) or even 'just like' zidane were then I could agree that we must try as hard as we could to keep him

But as it is in reality? I'm not convinced with the hype; the fact is we are where we are now more because of tevez and morata far more than pogba and we got both only for 32m

Big money + world class advanced position players swap for pogba? We shoild take it as long as the players involved is not over 30 years old

We are living in the age of hype ratardation, mate, anything hyped enough there will be people throwing $$$ at it without really thinking
Pogba was best young player of World Cup bro. Pogba won Golden Ball at U20 World Cup in 2013. Pogba was Golden Boy in 2013.

Pogba, as a Central Mid, and with missing 2 months of action, has 10 goals and 5 assists this year. Pogba played an integral part in getting us out of group stage in CL, in winning us many games in Serie A, in first leg win against Dortmund.

Pogba is hyped, but for very good reason.

Yet nobody here can refute what I said, we would've been in much worse position if it was tevez who was injured instead of pogba; we were fine without pogba for a while and footballing wise I have no doubt that we will be just fine if we sell pogba

Now tell me is it such a thing that warrant 100m pricetag in pure footballing sense (no marketting / hype factor whatsoever)???

If this was platini type of player, we should slap 1 billion pricetag on him lol, just reinforce how the whole pogba thing is like 60% hype and 40% pire game decider quality

In this current Juventus Pogba is replaceable sure not in quality or talent but in what he does and the things required from him he is. This year our whole play depends on Tevez in attack but yet in few games Allegri found a way that to not be shown. Add AM in this squad and you'll lose even the dependency of Tevez and you won't even notice Pogba is gone. As I said he is quality and once in a generation player (so far) but for 80m I will escort him to the airport.

...but if we don't win...

He stays because he has unfinished business and now knows Juve is capable of winning CL?

Either way, it's a win-win situation. Win the CL, Pogba stays because we are the best team in the world. Lose the CL, Pogba stays due to unfinished business.

:weee:
I think we estabilished our name out there again. there should be more money coming in from now on.

The only reason i ever thought of selling Pogba was because i thought it'd take us another half a decade to get where we got. But we're fine. We keep spending smart. There's no need to break the bank and we're competent enough to make money off the CL now, therefore there's no need to sell him.

Pog stays unless he wants a change of scenery.

Just think more long term. Imagine if he score something like this
in final. The hype over him and Juve will soooo grow. And those tousands of new Juve/Pogba supporters all over the word. He cen make more than those 80mln for us in couple years.

:disagree:

Seriously, there's a reason no real top club sells their top assets unless they want to leave (as with Zidane or CRonaldo to Real).

What is all this chat? As stated above Pogba is such a marketable player that he'll make us 100m indirectly even if he stays so why sell if he's keen to stay?

You may think that we need the money for this player or that player but guys...it's 2015. Del Neri is gone and we're in the Champions League final. I trust our management and transfer policy and it seems they want to keep Pogba.

We're arriving back at the top and Pogba is our most recognisable talisman to our new fans. Invaluable.
