If we should splash on anyone, should be this one right here! El Matadoooor! Then Jojo next year, or vice versa, Jojo now, Cavani next year.

There's not much in that article.

Cacares is just saying how he'd like Cavani here, he's a great player and knows Italian football very well.

However he doesn't make the decisions.

The best speding this mercato would be on cavani no doubts.

Jovetic is more of a long term project..... Cavani will start scoring in Juve the moment we gibe him the shirt.

It seems that Man City has decided to sign RVP, so that whould leave us the prime candidates to sign Cavani.
Once Man City gets RVP, one or two of Tevez and Dzeko will have to go, more options for us and for the other big spenders like Chelsea and PSG out there.
So then Napoli will run out of suitable buyers again and once more options appear in the market, esp the hyped EPL ones, they will realise that they have lost the negotianing power they believe they have atm.

Cavani's agent adviced him, that he can negotiate for 8-9mil salary, Napoli will not accept it and will prefer to make a profit from him.
After selling Matri and the 15-20 cash we already have available (since we offer it right and left) it will be the perfect opportunity for all to strike that deal!

We need a CF this year, we are stacked at SSs, esp with two great ones like Vucinic and Giovinco.
If we buy another one this year, i doubt that we will make such an investment the next year, as the one who will buy this year, will come as a starter.
He will play the whole season as starter, because we practically will have no competition for him and it will be far less possible to turn him into a sub next year and make space for Cavani.

Unless of course we do the the utter stupidity of not signing any CFs, sign yet another SS and loan back Borriello...
