Statistically speaking, the Bundesliga is better than the Serie A.
Try to telling that to the players. Players dream about playing in Italy, Spain or England. Not in Germany(unless they're German of course).

When was the last time a German teams did better than the Italian teams in CL and when was the last time the Italian teams did better in Europa League? Usually, German teams do better in Europa League and Italian teams do better in Champions League.

The fault is with the Italian clubs for not performing in the EL.

I don't accept this nonsense of not caring about the EL.

It's a competition, you're part of it, you should want to win it. If you don't want to win it, you're a fucking idiot.

There are lots of idiots around.
:agree:

Which of Roma and Bayern lost 3-1 against Basel?
I don't disagree with the general point the the Bundesliga may well be better than Serie A, I was just suggesting the particular argument about the Roma-Bayern games may not be a great one.

Are you guys saying that the Bundesliga is better than Serie A? Don't make me laugh.

Sure the Bundesliga is a flourishing league but its not in the same league as Serie A, Premier or La Liga.

Didn't Roma beat Bayern Munchen last night too? Bundesliga is a great league, but give it more time before it can stand side by side Serie A.

Bayern already beat Roma 2 - 0 and they beat Basel twice.

german clubs do decent in eurocrapleague, with there attacking attitude, against teams with weak defenses

in championsleague, when teams with defenders that actually dont suck are faced, it will be only bayeren who has the quality.

mourinho's inter, roma if they play to there quality, and milan with in form zlatan+fit defence, are better then bayeren.

hence, we could repeat man shity and draw them(for winning it takes a striker)

I don't really know about the difference between the two leagues other than recent legacy at the moment. Bundesliga is more competitive and more watchable. Serie A is more competitive this season at the top. A lot of things come in consideration when comparing leagues, but I don't really care about all that. I tend to just watch the teams I like no matter whether the league is up or down.

To say that Bayern are below Roma based on last night's result and therefore Seria A is better than the Bundesliga is silly. If we do that we can say that Basel are better than Roma and there for the Swiss league is above Serie A.
