I'm not saying they're dumb because they ask alot for Dzeko. I said they are dumb because they think after rejecting our huge offer for Dzeko we would accept their shet offer for Diego.
I get that. But that doesn't mean they are trying to "push" us around. You always offer something insignificant and work from there. You never give them an offer that is "ridiculous" unless your are Real Madrid.

Our first offer for Dzeko was lame and nothing close.

Low profile, no. Dummies... yes.
Still not as dumb as you think they are.

I could see Juventus signing someone not remotely close to the talent of Dzeko or Krasic at the end of the window.

Pulling a... "We should get Dzeko, now we should get Krasic, no Dzeko, no Krasic, Dzeko, Krasic, Dzeko, Krasic... How much time left in the window? 2 days. SWP's available".
That sounds like Liverpool to me.

No, I can't. No one really gets bullied. I can't remember the last time a club MADE another club buy their players. Either a club is dumb enough to accept an offer or a club is smart enough to get a club to accept the fee.

Its got to be Krasic at this point. Dzeko is out of the question.
But even then we were JUVENTUZ...
Well Juventuz never gets taken advantage of

Call me crazy, but I would never spend this kind of money for Dzeko. He is used to the German league, a total different league than the Serie A. You see the difficulties with, for example, Diego who went from the German league to the Serie A.

I prefer a striker who made it in the Serie A. My choice for next year is still Pazzini.

I don't know, I think Pazzini is overrated, Tony in his (admittedly short) prime was a lot better.

I don't think you are crazy at all, actually.

It's a good thing we didn't buy David Trezeguet and Zlatan Ibrahimovich when we had the chance

Those players were already proven. Dzeko isn't, he is 'hot' since one year now. He has to prove himself.
He has been "hot" for 3 years now.

Actually, to prove you wrong if you look at the numbers...Dzeko has scored as much in 3 years at Wolfsburg as Trezeguet did at Monaco in 5 years in almost exactly the same amount of games.

TREZEGUET: 5 years at Monaco: 93 games played, 52 goals scored.

DZEKO: 3 years at Wolfsburg: 94 games played, 56 goals scored.

Dzeko actually makes Trez's record there look like nothing.

But no, lets pass up the chance to get someone that can score more than David Trezeguet.
You beat me there, I didn't know that.

But still, the 35 million is in my opinion to much for this player. Esspecially in this time with our financial well-being. It's, for me, still a big risk to invest this sum of money on Dzeko.

Saying 35m is too much for us is different than saying 35m is too much for him.
