Is it Diego we will lose? if so........ I'm speechless.
There is a minor problem here: Will Diego accept to play for Wolfsburg?

Dzeko wants to leave Wolfsburg for Juve to make a step up in his career. Will Diego make a step down?

If Diego is fine with playing for Wolfsburg then fuck it, it shows lack of ambition and no need for him in Juve, but I am absolutely sure that he won't accept Wolfsburg so imo there is no need to worry about it.

Diego's refusal to play for Wolfsburg might cost us Dzeko though, but I don't think Dzeko's transfer will depend on Diego.

True Alen.

Del Neri's recent comments about Diego and Diego's attitude in training shows he has a future at Juventus and that would be really good. I've just posted some interesting news in the Krasic thread. Personally I'd make Wolfsburg an offer if they refuse, get Krasic and then see if we can get another Striker.

Why would Del Neri say that Diego is fundamental to the new Juve if he wants him out? And I don't see any of our other players that can work with Dzeko, he needs a creative player next to him.

Dzeko does not need a creative player next to him. He isn't Trezeguet. He can create for himself, get into good positions, finish with both feet and head...the guy is a complete striker. Play ball to his feet, on the run or cross from wingers....either one he still doesn't need a creative player behind him.

agree. although with diego next to him i think that he would be even better. generally diego for me is a player that should be untouchable...

My experience with watching him tells me that he does need a creative AM behind him. Trust me, Misimovic played a hugeeeee role in Dzeko's fame as a great striker.

Yeah that's what I was saying at the bottom of the last page. It is pretty impressive for such a big man to be so nimble on his feet and have such good ball control.

Some of those snaking runs he makes, tearing defenders...:delpiero:

EDIT. Not about the exchanging Diego. Don't want that.

Don't get carried away with his abilities. Dzeko is good, but we're going to need a player who is able of creating chances next to him, someone with the killer instinct to make a pass or a dribble which opens up an opposition defense. Someone like a Del Piero or Diego type of player. A lot of Dzeko's goals come from the killer pass made by either winger or attacking midfielder. I see us struggling majorly without one.

I don't want a single member of our team isolated in a match without help, like we did to Diego for an entire season.

I agree with that ... Misimović is a master behind scene.

He allways manages to collect 15+ assists and he is the one who puts Dzeko in headlines.
