TOTTENHAM insist they will not be held to ransom by Palermo over highly-rated Danish defender Simon Kjaer.
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini says Spurs have made a £28.5m double bid for Kjaer and Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani.
But Harry Redknapp is not interested in Cavani, who looks set to join Steve McClaren at Wolfsburg, and he has yet to make an official bid for Kjaer. A source close to Spurs said last night: “Palermo’s claims are inaccurate. We have not bid for these players.”
I wonder why Wolfsburg need a new striker..
